I love it. I do business with many nationally known commercial banks and NFCU is better than any of them overall. Their products, like credit cards, loans, mortgages, fees are at least competitive to downright clearly superior. There online banking and mobile apps are world class. It's fundamentally a members credit union and that is exactly what everything revolves around - you, the member. You won't find another one stop institution that does as well as NFCU. Highly recommended.
I went to this location a few days ago. Our teller Samiris Vargas was very kind and helpful. She really helped us out like a professional and I certainly appreciate her positive attitude.
They need to reassess the friendliness and competency of the tellers at this bank. I have been there a few times to get documents notarized and many times they tell me they can't notarize this, that and the other, when that is not true. I went to one of the notaries who told me she can't notarize my passport. When I was walking out, the girl at the front desk told me they do, they just need to make the copy themselves. At least she was nice enough to assist me. I have been to many branches of NFCU and I find the tellers at this particular branch to be most unfriendly. Lacking proper customer service and to think, they are serving military families. Disappointing
This location is located near the Target in Red Mill. I always get quick and easy service while here. The bank tellers are also very nice. I normally come here because it is close to home and 95% of the time use the drive thru ATM. There is barely anyone there every time I do come. Great location.
I am not a petty person but I just had a bad experience at this branch and I am a little upset. I have been a member of nfcu for more than 10 yrs and this my first time going to this branch. all my family uses nfcu and we love nfcu. I took my elderly dad’s check in this branch to deposit it in his checking. I asked the teller how long it was gonna take to show up on his checking so I can tell my dad. She would not tell me at all and said I was not in his account and she cannot answer my question. I wasn’t trying to ask how much money my dad had in his checking. I asked a very generic question I can ask at any bank. She still refuses to answer my question. I told her I am also a member and asked her, if I had a check I deposited in my account how long would it take for the money to show in my account? She still refused to answer me and she wanted me to show her my ID. Wow! So rude! So I went to the receptionist to ask the same generic question and she was able to answer me, “immediately.” I told her thank you and left. I don’t know who the teller was that I spoke with, I didn’t look at her ID... but whoever is the manager of this branch needs to retrain their tellers. I did a simple transaction that should have only taken 5 minutes or less but that teller ruined my day with their rudeness and attitude.
Ashleigh has the worst attitude and should not be in customer service.. She rudely hand gestures members to the teller line so she can sit and do nothing.. Then smirk about it behind your back.. I would never hire her or have her as a part of my work family.. When working with the public and placing someone in a position such as a door greeter keep in mind smiles and helpfulness is key.. Her attitude is absolutely disgusting and I'm sure she is one person to her boss, however, HORRIBLE to the members of this branch!!! I have been a member and have used this branch for years without problem until disgracefully greeted by Ashleigh..
I think it’s time they get new people in that bank and fired the old. If I have the same experience like I had last time with that person. that person will be removed and put on a black list from a phone call. Remember don’t piss off a government person that can make stuff happen.
My wife is deployed, and NFCU was made aware multiple times of this while we were applying for a loan to finish remodeling our house. They kept saying it wouldn’t be an issue. We had to keep calling back as they kept sayin it would be an hour to review and they would notify us about the loan. A day later, and multiple calls, they told us that I could pick up the loan check from the branch. I went in and was told both my wife and I had to be present. They refused to disburse our funds to us, so I told them to cancel the loan. They then couldn’t present me with any proof that they submitted our loan for cancellation. This isn’t the first time NFCU has jerked us around. They have run my credit in the past without my permission. They misreport, and double report loans to the credit agencies, so it looks like you have twice the number of loans than you do, and regularly get the information wrong. They then refuse to fix it, and try to claim its either my fault, or the credit agencies fault, when I can clearly see proof it’s NFCU’s fault. This time around the blatantly lied to us so they could try to stick us with a loan that they wouldn’t have to disperse until my wife comes home. This seems like some sort of fraudulent activity, and is definitely an unfair business practice.
Very friendly Navy Federal branch. I'm in here darn near weekly and the employees remember me and are always kind. I've never had to wait too long for help, which is always nice.
Tiffany, pretty sure that was her name was gracious and allowed me even fill out the pw in her office. This really helped since she could quickly answer the few stumbling blocks. Once finished, Tiffany reviewed the pw, had me complete areas I missed and I was on my way.
