Neighborhood Legal Services Program

The communication was very good in the initial consultation. After singing the retainer agreement, I was helped to get a briefing. I was happy to get that within 2 days. After getting that, I emailed twice with no response then the 3rd time I emailed the lawyer, he contacted me and let me know he was working somewhere else and my case was closed. I think the communication could have been better if anyone who was working there would have just let me know the case was done, and he was no longer there. If I would have known when the case was done, I would not have emailed again. He did offer to refer me to someone else if I needed it but I was scared that they wouldn't communicate well. I would have liked someone to be on the case until I moved completely out or gave me a heads up if they closed or would be working elsewhere. We can't just assume without conversation. I think its decency to make a client aware of the date the services ended.

These guys are quick to respond and eager to help. I had no idea where to turn but NLPS is a great organization. God only knows how much I appreciate their help.
