Company not worth your attention or trust, unfortunately. I paid for an item a good deal, but a fair price and several days later received a cancellation stating that it was "no longer available." I did hours of research and passed up several other choices to make this particular purchase. My item was actually STILL AVAILABLE--the product was simply listed at a more opportunistic price for immediate purchase by anyone willing to pay more. I was graciously offered a price match by a rep on the phone, but after 32 minutes on hold his supervisor called the cancellation at a fair price "unfortunate" and refused to help unless I was willing to shell out more $ on the spot. He had no explanation for why I was told the item was out of stock.
I personally do not like giving such low reviews but this experience has left me no choice. I selected an item and while checking out I noticed how quickly the delivery dates were so I ordered an item with hopes that I would get it to me in 8 days although the shipping stated it would only be a few days. After 4 days had passed and my order had made no progress I reached out and was told it would take 2 Weeks. This is absurd. I should of bought the same item for the same price at BedHead Pajamas. Mind you, the store is only 100 miles away....
Incredibly unprofessional staff especially a lady with blonde hair with her co-worker, an older gentleman who is bald. Only things they do is go around and harass other customers. No idea why they do this? Racist? Thinking customers are poor and can't afford anything? Afraid of customers trying to steal? Whatever the reason is, it is very crazy. Considering that this is a "luxury department store"...based on the staff...it's not luxury whatsoever. There is nothing luxurious being harassed by staff workers. Unfortunately, I cancelled my inquiry because of the rude staff. I refuse to spend money here with people who have no class and respect, not only towards me, but towards other customers as well. Reading the other reviews are very accurate. Staff will never greet people and when they do...it's only to "scare" the customer.
Amazing customer service by Beauty ambassador Racine-Angel Bell. As soon as we approach the La Mer counter she welcomed me and my friends and answer our questions. She helped me find my perfect tone match for a tinted moisturizer and I ended up buying the product. My two friends liked it on my face so much that they are going back to buy it themselves. Thank you.
Refused to help accommodate to simple delivery instructions I had asked for an item I purchased. I was not able to meet the delivery driver for a "direct signature" for a ridiculous time frame for dates they specifically refuse to have any items delivered on weekends btw this company refused to change. It was almost like they never wanted me to have the merchandise in the first place. Scumbags
I had the most uncomfortable experience of my life here. Do not come in if you aren’t white. I had read the other reviews that mentioned the same thing and didn’t understand until I went in. I was followed for 45 minutes by a bald sales rep, bob who stood 2 feet away watching me the whole time. When I asked him for help he asked a question about cotton out of nowhere and refused to help me my rest of the time there. This store is explicitly racist, and even though management knows, nothing is going to be done.
Placed an order on Monday for overnight delivery. Was said to have by Wednesday and of Wednesday evening it hadn't even shipped. They were told it was for a medical device and was needed prior to my vacation. Now I won't have it for my vacation. Canceled order and will no longer purchase from them!!
Neiman Marcus Boston has the best cosmetic department of all department stores in Massachusetts! One of the only store that offers my favorite brand - Givenchy Beauty. Le Soin Noir has the hidden secret of youth. The serum and the creams firm with black algae. I tried Givenchy’s new foundation what is my new must have. It is a gluten free product with 24 hours hydration and glow. You must try it! Free samples were available! I picked up a Le Rouge Baume lip treatment for my stressed lips. We all need this from the stress of wearing the mask. The store offers complimentary events on the weekends for their customers such as bottle panting to personalize your own products/ gift and you can enjoy a fun DJ during your shopping. This last weekend was Holly Nicholas’s book lunch “Modern Fashion Illustration”. Ms Nicholas was presenting live illustrations. She wrote and inspirational message and signed her book for my daughter. This going to be one of her 14th birthday present. I visited the jewelry department and shoe department. I purchased my favorite lingerie from Chantelle. The store is very clean and safe to shop even during the pandemic. Everybody wears masks. The associates are nice and the customer service is incredible. They are very personable and helpful. If you can’t find your product you can pay in the store and the sales associate can order it for you. This is one of the oldest department stores in Boston. I highly recommend you to shop in the store.
I was walking around like a normal shopper with my friend. All of a sudden, an old man with glasses starts following us around the entire store. Never did he ask if we needed help or anything. We soon walk around to the Brunello Cucinelli and Peter Millar section to view what they had. To our notice, the same old man walks to the same area as us and grabs the telephone to make a phone call while eyeing us down. Soon, we walk over to the Canada Goose and Moose Knuckles section to see if he would follow us. THEN SUDDENLY, I was greeted by an older lady with blonde hair asking if we needed help. We said, "No, but thank you. We don't have work today so we're just shopping around." She doesn't say anything in response. We then walk over to Zegna and Tom Ford. She then follows us around there too. We caught her trying to start small talk with another gentleman but he did not walk to talk to her. It was so obvious that she wanted to keep and eye on us alongside her co-worker without being so obvious...but it was BEYOND obvious they were following us. We felt too uncomfortable and walked out with nothing in our hands because of how rude these workers really are. As we went up the escalator from the men's department, she quickly takes out her phone from her pocket to call someone while eyeing us down again making sure we are leaving the store. NEVER HAVE I EVER HAD SUCH A POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE IN MY LIFE. Someone was talking about the same lady in another review and when I read about it, it was exactly the same woman she described and has discrimination towards people of color. Unbelievable of how staff works in this store.
Great sales professionals. Beautiful clothing, shoes, handbags!! Also the jewelry is outstanding and one of a kind!
