I think that the service is nice here, and so is the food some dishes, the wrap is not good. However, from my experience, I think that the coffee could be better, because I ordered an americano and received just a regular black coffee. 4/5
After our early afternoon at the Museum, my sister and I grabbed some lunch in the cafè so that we wouldn't have to leave. We shared the Black Angus Burger and it was ok. The burger was a tad dry and didn't have too much flavor. The potato chips were delicious though, freshly made and crispy. Our server was really nice and courteous. The restaurant was ultimately just convenient so that we could pick up and continue exploring the museum. Our meal wasn't the best, but it was still sufficient and pleasing.
Great place to grab a bite in this atrium restaurant while visiting the museum. The menu choices are very good, and the food is prepared to order with fresh ingredients. The service is also very good, and I enjoyed dining in the center of the hall people watching.
This is a delightful place to get lunch. Great natural light open feeling, and of course, the food is good, sometimes very good indeed.Food: 5/5
This is one of one my favorite restaurants in one of my favorite museums. The food is SO GOOD, and perfect for sharing. Katy, one of the servers, in particular is wonderful. She recommends the best food and she’s one of my favorite parts about eating here Cannot recommend enough!
We only had dessert, the crepe of Strawberry crepe was not freshly made, it was cold and tasteless and the strawberries was probably taken straight out of their Egyptian collections. Espresso was obviously confused with black coffee, not recommended for coffee or dessert.
Went to MFA today August 14, 2021 with my adult grandson to view Monet then for lunch at the MFA New American Cafe. An excellent experience. Great service, delicious food and the dessert brownie with ice cream was the best I have ever had! It is pricey but worth it. Had green garden salad, broccoli, chicken wrap, chicken quesadilla. I would go back just to have the wonderful dessert again! We loved all the food.
I ordered seared gulf shrimp with risotto $26 and the portion was super small. Sevice was ok and the place is nice, but I left the restaurant still feeling hungry.
This is a beautiful restaurant in a beautiful open-air space. The problem is that the restaurant isn't actually that good. The menu is limited, but I had sweet potato soup amazing! and a hamburger tasteless!. But while the food quality isn't perfect, the service was downright bad. We were ignored for much of the meal, food took forever to arrive, and when it came time to order dessert, the waitress took so long to actually come see us that we had to leave since there just wasn't enough time left to eat it. As museum cafes go, this isn't bad... but it strives to be more and comes so close. I hope they improve in the future.
Had a really really really good quesadilla! I’m not sure what it was - the flavor/the components but it really was exactly what I wanted. It was cooked perfectly and the sauce was delicious! My mum also really enjoyed the Vegetable tart. The portions were not huge but they were a good size for a small lunch. The waiter was really kind, attentive, and spoke Portuguese and Spanish !
