This is the flagship store of the Boston based New Balance. They’ve got all of the latest items on the shelves and not one of them is going to be on a sale unfortunately. You have the Made in USA 990v4s the fresh foam 1080 v9, name it and they’ll have it. Plus the customer service assistants are very polite and professional. It’s worth seeing the science behind the shoes which they’ve showcased using touchscreen devices.
I just picked up new shoes todays. Great service! Will be back for some other pairs later on this year. James

Went in looking for some shoes, had a great experience finding out about the ideal shoe for my feet. Unfortunately they didn’t have my size, but that didn’t stop everyone from being so helpful. Special thanks to Ben for helping us with the foot scans and really explaining the best New Balance shoed for us. I really liked how they didn’t make you give your info to set up a profile before getting a scan and shoe recommendations. We were able to find the right shoes for my husband though.

I went to this store to exchange a gift that was purchased online, that I had been told by text/talking to customer service that I couldn't do via telephone or in person. Since I've been a New Balance customer for 20+ years I highly doubted that I wouldn't be able to do the exchange in store with my packing slip in hand. Text/talking to customer services solution was for me to either keep the unwanted items or return them and have the purchase go back to my relatives credit card which I didn't want. When I walked into the store I was greeted warmly by Monty. I explained my situation and he was more than happy to help me. He helped me pick out new items in store and when all of the items were not in stock in the size I needed in his store he hopped online and ordered the correct size and had it delivered to my home. He also returned the items to a gift card and made the new purchases with the gift card just in case something went wrong with the shippingwhich it did not the item arrived the next day! So I wouldn't have another negative experience with talking/texting customer service. Monty went above and beyond in my humble opinion and he deserves a raise or at least employee of the month!
April 2022: it's even better now. Masks off! What's the right word? Awesome and grateful! First we got our feet checked and as I suspected my left foot and right foot had different probations. My left running shoe wore out much quicker than right! Second I got the right shoes!! 1080 or 860!! We were helped by many, including Ben Penn alum! And Calvin. Sorry I forgot the name of the gentleman who measured my feet. HE WAS THE BEST! Delay no more and go get your feet tested. NB got it right! Watch out Nike! You are boring now.
They sold two pairs of Sneakers both red. And both had dye that ruined the sneakers as well as 4 pairs of socks I had. The guy offered me a discount on a new pair of sneakers. No other sneakers I've ever had had dye that ran like this. Pretty awful experience. $160.00 spent and they wouldn't give me one red cent back, just a discount on new sneakers.
i’ve been here three times so far. Each time with different staffs, but all were so amazing and nice. The store had sizes available for all the items i was shopping for.
