Number 1 Ben City Supermarket is the perfect example of a good Asian supermarket in the Philadelphia area. It has mostly a Vietnamese / Thai focus, but does sell some Japanese, Korean, and Chinese items. A good variety of fresh seafood, fruits and vegetables plus plenty of Asian grocery items. The household ware items are very well stocked and I found many desirable items for my kitchen here.
Since a long time ago, maybe 20 years I bought many things in this place and I have no complaints. I like this place. I never saw any wrong price at cashier and I pay very close attention to the prices when I bue my things.
Have pretty much everything you need, but pretty small place. Parking suck!! Need to fix the pavement . And shopping cart all over the place, just watch where you park because of people having to leave their cart everywhere.
If the market didn't smell like rotten meat, I would shop there more often and I would purchase meat and fish along with the rest of my goods. I've been paying more at H-Mart because I can't stand the stench.
Good Asian supermarket to buy groceries have a good variety been going here since I was little and they revamped the place recently looks nice.
The workers and owners are horrible. Nasty attitude can't ask for help. They act like they can't hear you. Not to mention theirs restroom so disgusting. I wont order bbq from that place.
This a great supermarket. Chainice ! You can found here all kinds of fruits, vegetables, and anything that you can't found in any Supermarket
This is my first time shopping here and feel quite satisfied with this market. Asian goods are quite diverse and the quality is also good. I will visit again.
This Market is very racist. I had numerous racist encounters with the fish servers and Cashiers. They are very ignorant.
Good selection of seafood and vegetables. Prices are reasonable. It smells HORRIBLE wear your mask and speed walk to minimize the stinch affecting your shopping experience
