New Course

Someone posted a 5 star rating 2 months ago. This place has been closed since before Thanksgiving last year. How did she do a review from 2 months ago. This place is owned by the pastor of the church on the next block. He also owns the 2 brick apartment buildings attached to the restaurant. He is a slum lord and terrible at dealing with the public. He is under investigation by DC government. His name is pastor Tom. He pays his staff to write 5 star reviews.

Place is great. Their lunch seems like surplus food from their catering business but cooked fresh. I had the BBQ chicken dinner for under $7. Hand made sandwiches with carved in front of you meat. They also cook breakfast from scratch, $5 plates. A great meal and an excellent value. Easily the cheapest food around and better than most. Lastly, overhearing the assistant manager talk this is part of a culinary institution which is why the prices are so low.

New Course has a great mission and amazing people working behind the counters. The sandwiches are delicious and my favorite is the chicken little. Best quality sandwiches for the prices in the area!

The Washingtonian was delicious. One must try it. I use to eat breakfast here about 5 or six years ago. The omlettes are so good. Great place to have breakfast or lunch. Reasonably priced.....

Amazing. Their sandwiches are only 5.50 and come stuffed with the meat of your choice, freshly cut right in front of you. The staff is friendly and the locale is cozy and old school

I eat lunch at New Course a couple times per month. Food is very fresh and affordable. Also, my wife and I used the catering service for a ceremony with about 120 people - everything was exactly as promised and at a great price.

Great place! The food was good, reasonably priced, and the service was fast and courteous. Their mission statement was enlightening! Kudos to the staff at New Course!

Great food at a really inexpensive cost! So happy I found a place for lunch that won't break my budget.

Yum!! Really good kimchi and they make recommendations for sauces that go with your meal that are so good!
