New Gold Mountain

Very good dim sum considering it's Omaha. I'm from Malaysia and while this is a not incredibly authentic - it was still delicious and enjoyable. Service was not perfect but it got the job done! Very decently priced. We had dim sum for 3 people, and we filled ourselves up for about $48.

Nice cozy place with an exhaustive menu catering to all palates right across Stinson park. The dishes we ordered were flavorful and carefully balanced. I will surely recommend this place if you are craving for traditional Chinese food.Food: 4/5

We have eaten at Gold Mountain several times and it has always been good. I had never ordered General Chicken before, because, c'mon, its everywhere right? Everyone has had it a million times, but the menu said it was a specialty, so why not. It was really, really good. Vegetarian options: I am a carnivore, but there were several meatless options on the menu. Parking: Parking is plentiful around Stinson Park and Aksaeben, so no worries there.

I prefer the cart style but surprisingly the food was really good. They have plenty of dim sum items to choose from and other food items as well like pho or fried rice, etc. They even have bun bo hue but we were strictly there for their dim sum. The food came out fresh and hot and they were pretty quick being that it was an off the menu order. The price was fair, not too expensive. The atmosphere was chilled. The staff were all nice and friendly. I recommend this place and would definitely go back.

Very, very authentic Chinese food! Their Peking duck, dim sums spare ribs, shumai, rice noodle rolls, turnip cakes and beef chow funs are great! Rarely see Chinese food with quality like this! A must-try in town for sure!

Best chinese food in Omaha. This place is great from Dim Sum and other great chinese dishes. They also have the basic “to-go” chinese dinner or lunch options. Vegetarian options: Lots of different items ie green beans, tofu, and other veggies Parking: Lots of parking in the area and in the back there’s a garage too.

This had been our go to place in Omaha for Chinese food. Unfortunately, the last two times we tried Gold Mountain the food wasn't good. We were missing items in out take out and the food was very sweet. Too sweet. And the brown sauce was very thick as if it had been sitting for over a day. Today, the rice in the chicken fried rice was very dry as if it had sat out for several days before being used. The chicken in the sesame chicken was burned and the sauce ver very much too thick and sweet, much more than usual. We'll be looking for a new Chinese restaurant.

I come here whenever I’m in Omaha with my family. The staff were decent, except for a young lady she’s always mean. Whenever she is our waitress for our table, she charge service fee $20-$25. What???? She also said to the guy who take the bill, “ I already got the tip, you don’t have too. We do not agree with what she have done to us. She also slam the food when she set them on the table. Do not come here!!! Don’t ever!! They will charge your service fee more than they suppose to. She also charge extra and we didn’t even order the food.

Oh definitely recommend. As far as Chinese food goes, easily one of the best in Omaha. Also generous portions and good prices. Great for family dinners and small gatherings. One of my favorites

Will never visit this place again!! Had plans to meet up with 2 other friends, and I had one with me. We decided to meet up at this place, the friend and I arrived here. Not busy, but not slow. The one server gets us our menu and we sit for a good 10-15 minutes just looking at the menu. Lady asked what we would like to drink and we both reply with water, she go gets them and we spend another 10-15 mins looking at the menu, waiting for her to take our order cause she keeps disappearing. After what seems like forever, we decided to go to a different restaurant. The vibes were just off as soon as we walk in. We go to get up and walk out the door and this old lady just spawns out of no where saying "WHAT, YOU NO LIKE OUR FOOD?" "HUH, YOU NO LIKE THE FOOD?" My friend is already through the first set of doors outside and I'm trying to get past the second set and this old women starts grabbing my arm and keeps repeating the same thing. I tell her politely, it's just not what we had in mind. She let's go of my arm and rolls her eyes and slams the door behind me. First of all, you don't ever put your hands on a customer. Second, if your service wasn't terrible-we might have stayed. So please beware of this place.
