Our office is taking a 3-day Javascript training course on React.js, Redux, and Jasmine. The instructor has copied and pasted his materials verbatim from internet blogs without giving attribution to the original authors. He is basically just reading the materials aloud to us, then asking us to work independently on exercises. When he tries to do demos, he almost always has problems with his code or his development environment; we (the "students") keep having to show him what he's doing wrong and help him fix it. All in all, I think this has been a pretty terrible training course and a waste of our office's money.

After a change in management, the company seems to be doing quite well for the programs and you can take them from home or in person if you like. I took course here and I was well satisfied.

Cold Calling me at my work. Can't stand receiving cold sales calls, especially at my place of work. Tacky.

Super high pressure to pay immediately - then will not provide training. New Horizons took $6100 of my money June of last year though I told them i didn't need it right away. When I tried to use my credit for PM training I was told that I could not and that I would not receive a refund. Very bad very bad now I have to take them to small claims court, watch out for these scammers.
