The Faire gets better every year! This year, I got to enjoy a taste of the Highland Games. The performers are wonderfully fun - I enjoyed especially watching them interact with the little children in attendance at Faire. Wm. Shakespeare didn't know I was watching him, but he was charming some children while strolling around. Prices are reasonable for the type of event and the attractions have good variety. See you next year!

Went to opening day and unfortunately no one prepped the grounds for the weather. Everything was muddy, my son slipped and fell in it early on so he was wet and filthy for much of the day. Only a few places had any straw or wood chips laid out, much of it was squishy and swampy. My dad used to run a renaissance fair in Ohio so I know how this works, straw isn't that hard to come by. We had a much better time last year so I guess my advice is to go if the weather is nice, and if it isn't then reschedule. The performers were all troopers and did their best, I don't blame anyone for trying to put on a good show because boy did they try!

It's come a long way from year 1 , and what a journey.. It is a great day activity Easy to spend 4 or 5 hours as the acts are just wonderful. You don't have to be a geek or history person to enjoy it. Dressed up or not they staff makes your wish it was truly the 1500s or so again... This year was excellent ! !!!

My first trip to a Renaissance Faire and was delighted by my experience here. The friends I was with said they've been to bigger ones, but I was impressed by the amount of vendors and the jolly atmosphere had by all. I will definitely be attending more in the future.

I’ve been to a couple other renaissance faires. But none of them being as real and authentic as the New Jersey Renaissance Faire. I have been going for a few years now. I recently moved to PA and still make it a point to drive 3 hours and emerse myself in the times. As you walk through the gates you are instantly greeted, as you begin you’re journey the staff and actors will interact with you and make you feel as if you were actually part of the medieval times. If you’re looking for the full experience NJ Renaissance Faire is the place.
