New Looks Salon-I like this salon over others in Ankeny. There are two ladies who treat their patrons like friends. There is only one nail station which means there are no fumes floating in the air, three hair cut stations, two pedicure stations and both women are master crafters in their trade as stylists. Naturally for this level of pampering and expertise you pay a little more. But I think I am worth it.

New Looks Salon is great! I have been going there for a couple years now for cut and color as well as nails. Sandy does a fabulous job. She is very professional and fun to visit with too! I highly recommend New Looks Salon!

The worst! First time they messed up my hair by perming it with small curls when I specifically requested big and wavy. I figured I would give them another chance with a cut and color...which turned out even more disappointing! Sandy dyed my entire head blonde then charged me to dye it back to my natural color...can't even imagine what that did to my hair. I'm not sure if she actually understood what I was asking her to do or if she just assumed...definitely not a place that keeps up with trends! The prices turned out much more than advertised...don't be frugal like I was, go anywhere else!!!!

I always struggle to find a good hairdresser but this place has never once given me an issue. Great work, super sweet staff, and a very good price.

I have been having them cut my hair for years, from time to time I will try somewhere else, but always end up coming back here even though I live 20 miles away now.

excellent work but i was charged 50$ for hair cut. I can’t afford that.
