This is absolutely lowest Quality foods anyone can expected. Wasn’t busy when we were there on Friday night dinner time but it took 40 minutes for our first dish appetizer, The food was totally trash and the waitress was sleepwalking took them 20 minutes to refill our hot tea, and the worst part was people were smoking inside the restaurant. I wouldn’t recommend this place and I want my money back because there was a dry out fish on our chicken dish
First, it took them 10 minutes just to get me seated while there were like many other tables open. My plate was dirty and unclean as shown in the picture below. The food was terrible. Wouldn’t recommend, the waitress was rude mannered, had no WiFi. I think the only thing that was ok was the tea and the side dishes. Come to this place if you want to waste money. The soup was way too sweet they said sweet and sour, noodles were bland, the crabs were way too salty, lastly the pancake pizza oyster just tasted terrible.
All the seafood is fresh. The Dungeness crab was messy but delicious. We enjoyed the pork and the beef ribs very much. The fried rice on is outstanding. The servers are helpful. There are large tables for families.
Super fresh seafood. Cant get this from manhattan's chinatown. Was orginally skeptical from a recommendation but shrimps, lobsters and scallops were amazing and fresh. Pick your seafood from the window. You dont come here for ambiance or general tso chicken or chicken lo mein
It's a regular restaurant to have hot pot with friends and family, but I didn't see anything particularly great or terrible about this place. They are pretty quick bringing out the food cause you have a two hour limit for all you can eat, but that's all you need because you'll get full pretty full off everything. I like that they offer cooked items too like the appetizers. They had a pretty good selection of sauces self served, but that line can get really packed when people pick and choose what they want. it's also the same line to get your drinks, if your party size is big enough, they will give you a bottle for the table if you want otherwise you fill your own cup with the bottles. Overall it was pretty filling, and not difficult to find this place.
The price was very reasonable, all you can eat and drink for about $25 a person, their selection of meats and seafood wasn't too bad and all pretty fresh for being a buffet. The drinks were just pour yourself 3 liter bottles, and the beers they had were only bud heavy and tsing tao, but it is what it is! It's no frills, simple, don't have to clean up after yourself hotpot. I don't know of anywhere else better at the moment, but I would come here again.
Rip off big time!!! The waitress recommended you the dishes which are not on the menus. At the end, charging you a few hundred dollars for one seafood dish! The waitress also demanded at least 20% tips for overpriced dishes that she recommended! Never go back again! The food is not fresh!
Very good hot pot experience. You pay a flat fee for each person and you are supposed to get unlimited ingredients. Problem is Shanghai Tide does not like to give you too much because they don't want you to waste. Understandable. However, my group likes to eat and we eat a lot! Be careful and inspect your food. Some of the ingredients are frozen and might have mold on it. Also, one of our vegetables had quite a few snails on it.
WORST PLACE FOR CHINESE FOOD EVER. If I could give this place less than 0 stars, I would. I will also call and email the health department. There is smoking going on inside the restaurant even though there are "No Smoking" signs. The owner doesn't seem to want to enforce that rule. When told that there was smoking inside the restaurant despite the signs, the owner looked at me confused, then proceeded to just close the curtains to that room without telling the customers that they were breaking the law. If you want lung problems, a terrible dining experience, and second hand smoke, feel free to dine at this place which ironically also has a C rating, of which I believe should be an E. Furthermore, the cutlery and tea cups are not washed properly. This is, to say the least, the worSt restaurant I have ever eaten at.
The all you can eat hot pot buffet is the best deal in town. I come here when I'm really starving. Soda and soft drinks included. They give out generous portions. Food is fresh. Never had issues here.
