We were looking for flooring to match a discontinued style that was already in our new house. Mike Tallon really did a great job helping us find something that was close in style and color. He explained some of the features in the flooring and how it would work with our existing flooring, made sure we had real samples, etc. Lots of styles in stock at a great price. In the end, we did go with flooring from another company -- just a better color match -- but Mike was great to work with. I wouldn't hesitate to go back in the future.
Straight forward the owners of this place are mess and incompetent. They don't even know what they are selling . Answer for the response from owner : If you knew what you are selling the colors would match. Don't lie to people that I couldn't wait . You have no logical mind and no common sense so do not lie to people . You sell wrong material it is your responsibility to refund and your responsibility to pick up the material if you had a little common sense , Which you don't. You and your daughter need be ashamed. I bought redwood flooring as shown in pictures from this store , Alison Russell daughter of the owner was the lady who sold it to me informing me that they have matching stair nose that I oreder that as well I asked for padding underneath the flooring and paint for redwood ,padding and stair noses in cash . She said they will be ready by Thursday. My contractor went there and only the redwood flooring was ready for pickup , no stair nose and no padding . The day after I had to go and pick up the stair nose and still no padding underneath . One of pictures shows the stairs nose and redwood color difference while I was told they have matching stair nose for the flooring I chose. This lady is incompetent as she doesn't even know what is she selling. I was mad as my contractor that I pay daily was there ready to work on stairs and there is no material. So I lost a week already because of their incompetence. She was supposed to inform me Monday morning if they could find matching stairs nose , I waited until 2pm and no call . I called the store and her dad the owner picked up an done of his statement was , there is no logic here , it is what it is . And I said can you come pick up the material , he said no bring my material to get your money . In this proccess I lost almost 200 dollars for the transportation, at least a work day , another almost 1000 dollars for the contractor time and 1 week delay of home remodeling as well as hearing the nonsense and ton of stress and anxiety and this guys didn't dare to say they are sorry that they didn't know what they are selling and only blamed manufacturer . Please keep yourself away of this place, hassle and stress they will cause you .
Went to a lot of places but no one has the heart that the owner Mandy has. She spent time and explained the difference in the quality and what is best for dogs. She is not there to sell you a product she is there to make you happy and a client for life. There prices were also amazing. I could go on but trust me people this place is the best. I have several friends who are realtors and everyone said go here once you stop here you will look no further. Thank you New York Carpets and Flooring you now have a customer for life
Outstanding knowledgeable sales Tommie rocks!!. Prices are incredible. PERFECT installation!!! 10 stars UPDATE Bought a "pet friendly carpet" recommended by a senior sales.....it STAINS with EVERYTHING. Company blames me for the choice in carpet!!!!And says no warranty...I am SOL. Furious.
I bought vinyl flooring and carpet from here, both products were quality products and I was pleased with the outcome. However I will not purchase from them again due installation issues I had that were not handled to my satisfaction. When I communicated my concerns I did not get an apology but rather it was redirected on me as if it were my fault. This not the way I like to be treated as a customer. Fair warning great products, not so great customer service!
Been going to New York Carpets for my office and home carpet since 2005. They have great prices, friendly staff and fast installation. Bonus is that they have lots of carpet in stock so you don't have to wait for carpet to come in.
We were very pleased with our experience at New York Carpets! We went on a recommendation from our realtor and couldn't be happier. Mike Tallon immediately helped us, he's not pressure sales at all, asked what we had in mind and helped us pick the perfect tile and carpet. We have new floors for our entire house. We even went back for some area rugs! The quality is really good and the installers were professional and clean. We get a lot of compliments on our floors! I've read a couple of the bad reviews, which is not our experience at all, I suggest you definitely ask for Mike Tallon!
Great selection of quality carpet in every color. I needed blue carpet and they had it in stock! I was in, loaded up and out in 15 minutes!
Amazing customer service! Great pricing too.
Very nice when we were purchasing, but after we paid and the day of the installation arrived the disaster started. The installers were nice and did their job right, left a glue mark on my freshly painted wall and didnt do the carpeting on the area I had paid for, I had emphasized to the sales rep to do and they had measurements taken for. I called the day after and talked to a manager , very rude incompetent manager called Mindy if I remember the name correctly. she kept raising her voice and attacking me that I hadn't communicated. They had a map of my floor to carpet the area under question. But she kept attacking me and questioning my family's integrity and communication, probably to save the company a couple of dollars not to come back and complete their job. I just hung up thinking this is not worth my time. If you care about customer service and courtesy AFTER you pay, consider another company. This was the first time a person calling herself a manager was so rude and lacked professional skills to talk and troubleshoot an issue. I would say it probably cost the $70 to take care of the problem but they didn't want to.
