Been wanting to check out the Bronx Bar at New York Pizza forever! Pint and a slicecheese for $6. Added Italian sausage for a dollar more. Liked the thin crust and the sausage was delicious. A pint of local craft beer and a slice for 7 dollar make me holla! Will be back again. Thanks for letting me hang out.Food: 4/5
We ordered for pick up, which went very smoothly. Parking wasn’t an issue and timing was quick at 20-25 minutes. This was on a Thursday night. Pizza was good, I did like the ‘Snooie bread’. The vibe at the bar is a dive bar feel with high tops and low tops. There is a bar and I saw that you can get beer by the pitcher for groups.
It’s a Sunday night at 9:00 and our favorite places isn’t open so we decided to try New York Pizza on Magazine St. It was about as good as a frozen pizza over cooked. I myself typically like to eat the crust but this crust was like eating cardboard. Not that I have ever done that however, no flavor to the crust by itself and extremely hard. Although it filled a void in my belly, I consider this a waste of calories and we will not patronize this establishment again. Definitely over paid for what we had gotten. 14” cheese pizza with mushrooms with tax and slice fee was $25.29. Frozen would have been better considering the cost for sure. Picture shows how overdone the pizza was not to mention it looks as though it came out of the freezer.
Dive bar with pizza. Good enough to eat, when you need it. The slices are meant to be cheap - menu says $2.95 + 75 cents for a topping. However, I was charged $4.70 a slice with one topping. Update menus & pricing, maybe? I have had courteous service from bartenders each visit. I recommend staying away from the italian sausage topping, it has little to no flavor.
Yallllllllll....OMG! Came here to use a restaurant.com certificate... So glad we came! The food was E.V.E.R.Y.T.H.I.N.G! First off, Eric provided great customer service, despite the fact that he got mad busy after we came. The saladdddddd......The wings... ....the bread...the Pizzzzaaaa. If you haven't been here, you definitely need to go and get some Amazing food!
It's a dive bar with pizza. Service was a bit slow, but 2 slices and a beer was under $10. Not bad for quiet Friday night.
Really good pizza. We had the extra large 16" Big Apple. The crust in the middle of the pizza was a little wet, but the outer edges were great. Since the place is on Magazine, parking is an issue and don't be surprised to pay $36 for a pizza. Also, be prepared to wait...this is not fast food. All things considered, I'll be back...cool place and people.
The salad is usually good. My first time getting it with chicken. Well chicken crumbs.. they should leave the chicken in more chunks because it looks like they used leftover crumbs. The croutons were bigger than the chicken pieces.. Also there was a hair stuck to the plate..
I walked in this place for lunch and ordered a single slice of pizza to go and walked out in 10 min.! The pizza was very good! I just wish I would've had time to check it out in more detail. They did have a big menu so, go checkem out! You'll be glad you did!!!
The pizza is pretty good if you like thin crispy crust pizza. Mmmmm.Food: 5/5
