Open since 1913. Family owned and operated. Home of the Original BBQ Shrimp. Raw Oyster Bar serving the freshest Louisiana oysters. Cash only liquor bar.

We are now open all day Monday through Friday, open at 11:30am!
We are open Mon - Fri for Lunch and Dinner, Saturday for Dinner only at 5 pm, and closed on Sundays. Reservations are recommended.

"Pascal's Manale opened in 1913 and has been a family owned and operated restaurant ever since. Changing hands only once in its storied history, the restaurant is now part of the Ray and Jessica Brandt family. Specializing in Creole Italian cuisine, Pascal's Manale is open every weekday, offering lunch specials for a casual afternoon uptown or for a business lunch. The full bar features a happy hour with small plates. You can also check out the Oyster Bar as you walk in and have a few before being seated. For dinner, enjoy the finest and freshest ingredients around and try the ORIGINAL BBQ SHRIMP or any of our classic seafood and Italian dishes. Reservations available."

Mother in law recalled the BBQ Shrimp from more than 50 years ago and suggested we go on our trip to New Orleans. We made reservations for our party of 6 although during the week was probably not necessary. The atmosphere is very nice and nostalgic, I even face timed with my Mother in law and it was just as she remembered. Don’t be fooled by the term BBQ because it’s not what you expect although very tasteful. I suggest peeling all the shrimp and letting them sit in the juices.
Superior lunch! No photos of the BBQ shrimp sandwiches because we inhaled them. The bread is local bakery, crunchy crusty greatness. They had lunch special of 5$ Wheatley martinis so we had those too. My cousin had a Manhattan she described as divine. Excellent service, really good food.
Visited here from Florida and it was great! The food was great and the service was superb! Carmen the owner was extremely accommodating and John was also great! Will definitely be back any time we are in New Orleans.
Good lord don’t miss this place. What an experience in flavor. What an experience in atmosphere. What an experience in service. Thank you Liz and Jeanette for everything. The Frutta Del Mar exceeded expectations…and I’m not new at this. The seafood was fresh, cooked to perfection, with a nice peppery finish. The eggplant that Liz recommended was the perfect lagniappe to the Frutta Del Mar.
Pascal is defiantly a go to. Whenever someone comes to visit this is the place I bring them to experience cajun food. I love their BBQ Shrimp, bread pudding, and service. My daughter is a picky eater but she loves the pasta here. It's a bit pricy but worth every dime.
OMG sooo good . Fresh oysters! Full Bar get the BBQ shrimp ! It’s all you need . Restaurant has great history!
This has to be the best meal of my life. The oyster bar was amazing. The cocktails were excellent. The atmosphere was non pretentious inviting and comfortable . the food was a fusion of New Orleans Italian. Every dish was flavorful and the portions were large enough to share. Our server was so friendly and personable. I felt like I had a favorite aunt taking care of me. The next time I go to NOLA this will be a must go to.
I love their bbq shrimp, It’s of my favorites in the city. The fish with artichoke and crab sauce was even better though. We did their coolinary lunch which is a great deal!
A real locals restaurant known for their BBQ Shrimp. 100+years and going strong !There is a real history here. Go for the sentimental value, food is good and the servers make you feel like you're at home!!
We went for the Coolinary experience and were not disappointed. I had the BBQ shrimp and grits. All the great flavor without the shells. Lou had the catfish covered with lump crabmeat and artichoke hearts. So good she wanted to lock the plate. Rose had the chicken Parmigiano. Classic Italian. All gone!
