This food was  delicious!  They would have gotten 5 stars, but they only had 1 cook and 1 man doing everything else taking orders, getting drinks, doing tables, and bringing out the food; he was very pleasant though and as attentive as he could be considering we had to wait a while for our food! It was worth it; the food was good chicken tacos, rice, refried beans, and chicken nachos and they gave you great portions for the  money!  We would go back again even if we had to wait!

There are really only two places I go to for authentic Mexican food and this is one of them!  If you haven't been here in over three months,  then you must come in to see their expanded layout. It literally use to be a little "hole in the wall" but now,  it's a full blown restaurant with 2 bars, what appears to be a dance floor and even a DJ booth!  I would have taken a picture of the food but quite frankly,  I inhaled them to quickly because they were that amazing lol

This is a hidden spot that has delicious tacos. The restaurant space is large. Service is always consistent and food is amazing. Flavors are authentic and priced very reasonably. Protein portions are large for each taco.

We eat here about once a month, it’s so good. Hands down the best Mexican food in the area. We order for pickup mostly and usually get burritos and/or tacos. If you like spicy, the little spicy red sauce they give you is genuinely delicious. It’s a good level of heat where you still taste the flavor and not just heat.

The new location is complete garbage. The phone was turned off and I drove there in-person to order. I asked about the phone being off and the girl at the register picked it up and turned it on and then turned it off right in front of me. She literally showed me that she had it off and said- “I don’t know”.  I then ordered in person and I waited over an hour for 8 tacos. With no one in the restaurant and no other to go orders I waited an hour for 8 tacos. After an hour of no food, I walked up and got my money back and got zero apology.

Dose not open on time lady literally just looked at me and walked away!!!!! All  there signs say that they open at 9 AM?

The worst tacos I've ever had including from taco bell. No flavour at all they're not allowing dine in so we did to go and she failed to give us any silverware or napkins. We got four different types of tacos lamb chicken carnita and beef they all locked any type of seasoning especially seasoning that you would think of or street tacos I would absolutely never recommend this place to anyone. I was extremely disappointed we didn't even finish the food the tortillas weren't even cooked all the way.

Nico's is probably the best in my favorite place for tacos. If you look on a map and wanted to travel 100 miles Within the Virginia Beach area I would still go to Nico's every time. The folks there are friendly although English is not their primary language. Have a great lunch Taco special which I get a few days a week because I'm a taco addict. They also have a hot sauce that is pretty hot! I love the hot sauce. They have several different kinds of meats available from chicken to pork to steak two more exotic in traditional meat choices as well. they have burritos quesadillas and other things to order if tacos are not your preference

My wife googled "Best tacos in Virginia Beach" and so that's where we ordered. The pandemic is still here and it was Cinco de Mayo AND Taco Tuesday so it was no surprise they were slammed busy and the parking lot was parked up with people waiting to pick up. But the wait was worth it! We ordered chilaquiles verdes, a breakfast burrito, a gordita, a huarache, and several tacos. Everything was delicious. My wife compared their huarache to quality she'd only had in Mexico City. This place is the real deal and it's a safe bet we'll order here at least once a month for a Taco Tuesday.

Yummy, yummy, yummy!  This is a small delicious taco place that serves good food.  The place is small, limited seats, take out works too.  My favorites are the fresh made chips and salsa, and the chicken nachos.  Looking forward to trying more from the menu.
