Low quality products, that Nike won't stand behind. I purchased a pair of Nike Free's, that developed a large hole in the sole at around 7 weeks of half time use. Mainly used for walking and jogging, and some weight lifting. The squares in the sole can tear away easily. Nike said it wasn't a manufacturing defect, so they wouldn't honor a replacement. The same thing happened to a friend of mine at around 5 months, and the 2022 redesign features a much more robust sole, I'd imagine because the 2021 design is so low quality. I pay for Nike shoes to get higher quality, and a business that stands behind it's products, but I've lost a lot of confidence in the brand.
Can we shout out Jay? I asked for help and he went above and beyond. Even helped me understand the sizes and how some sneakers run larger and smaller than others. He was both professional and courteous!!! I will be back!
3 Stars for how clean the store is but need to work on customer service. Had us wait out for 20 minutes after opening hours. The employee finally unlocked the door and just walked away. Could at least open the door for the 15 plus people waiting patiently. Overall I’ll go to the one by my house in Jersey.
Absolutely useless salespeople. Do yourself a favor and shop somewhere better. I don’t know if the salespeople are there to socialize and be on their phones or to help customers shop. One salesperson was extremely rude and when I made a complaint, the manager didn’t seem to care. They were joking and laughing about it shortly after.
Smaller selection. Nice and clean in the Flatiron district. Breanna and Maria were great help!
Manager was outright rude concerning my return. Was told on the phone by customer service that my return should be processed and be given on a gift card. manager refused the service and would only let a same day exchange. items are never worn and every tag is attached Then called another store extremely out of my way and they said they can do the return on a gift card- therefore she is totally able and capable to honor the return on a gift card but chose to give terrible customer service instead. I’ve worked in retail for 7 years and never saw a manager disobey customer service to fill their own agenda by not taking a return that could hurt their metrics for the day. Shows how the customer and consumer is not a priority for the brand.
This is a very small Nike store. Women's apparel and shoes are on the entrance level and men's are one flight down via stairs or an elevator in the back. They seem to only have a few select items, and nothing that stood out to us. It also seemed overpriced in comparison to the Nike stores we have been to in the past. There were employees available to help here, but you just wouldn't know it, bc you are left to do your own thing and look around, without anyone speaking with you or asking you if you're looking for anything in particular, etc. We would definitely go to one of their bigger locations next time.
Another really nice Nike store with friendly and approachable employees which is something that stood out at the Nike Soho location as well. Much smaller a store than the Soho location but offering a variety of well laid out and accessible items. Didn’t have the size of shoe I was looking for but they were nice enough to call another location that had the show in stock, reserve it, and I was able to run over and pick it up less than an hour later. Near to Union Square North market and the Flatiron District so easy to get to from a variety of areas throughout the boroughs.
They have more shop ability than the Nike Soho. Helpful staff and parking wasn't bad at all on a Sunday. My size wasn't in in stock, but they helped me get my size ordered for delivery.
Picked up my new running sneakers here. Very fast and easy process if you have the app.
