Would recommend for JHU students. extremely close to campus, clean and new rooms, 24/7 security, comes furnished, great amenities and public spaces, and fun socials. The main issue is sound insulation and the elevator going out of order often, but even with that i still think it's one of the best off-campus housing choices.
Pros: Friendly staff and very conveniently located across the street from the Hopkins campus. No rodent problems. Cons: Amenities are not super reliable and as of recently at least one of the two elevators seems to frequently be broken. Apartments are pretty small.
Super good furnishing. Maintenance always on time. Leasing office team is amazing! :
Came in on Saturday for open house.and vernell one of the leasing staff, gave me a tour and was very informative.this place is definitely on my list of a potential place to live!!
Nine East is a fantastic place! We have a resident at this location and they cannot recommend it enough! Vernell was a great help to us throughout this process and walked us through anything we needed to know and answered all of our question concisely and adequately. I would highly recommend this property.
I love nine East because they are nice and clean. I do not any any problems living here because the security are nice and awesome. The other day the property manger Dana helped and Nika Vernelle and Hau is awesome.
I have a great experience living here for half a year now. Awesome amenities and staff! Shout out to Vernell and our Property manager Dana.
It’s my first time living in a city so I was a bit scared to be on my own at first BUT the security officers really helped me feel safe. Officer Gaskins and Patrice especially helped me feel welcome!
Out of the apartment buildings available for off-campus living Johns Hopkins students, this is one of the better ones. It is the newest, so things are pretty clean and in good shape. The leasing staff is very helpful, although the front desk staff is not always friendly. The amenities are solid, albeit usually overcrowded during the semester. And of course, the rent is far overpriced, but again, that is standard for the area. I would recommend to prospective resident with a vehicle to consider parking somewhere other than the SP+ garage at the base of this building; the alley is one way and drivers ignore it, the alley is frequently blocked by garbage, delivery or construction trucks and they will hit you with hefty parking violations if even hours late paying your monthly fee.
The security of the apartment is so good and Doris is so nice and helpful. She helped me finish all the move-in work with patience. A good choice for students who are in Homewood.
