Great ramen place!! It's a bit small, and usually you need to wait to be seated, but that's because the food is amazing, great atmosphere and staff super accommodating! The wait outside is well worth it!Food: 5/5
Ramen is pretty authentic! Summer special - bin bin noddles is more like Japanese/Korean fusion, big portion, good taste of veggie and kimchi combine together, chicken is tender Turn light into dark mode at 7:30pm when we were there, cool and chill atmosphere different from day time
I don’t get ramen much, but got the Chicken Ramen $14 here and gotta say this was reaaal good! The chicken broth reminded me of the soup that my mom makes at home cause I could actually taste some chicken in there. The broth is more clear as a result of this compared to the usual broth like for tonkatsu/miso ramen. I did find it too oily for my liking though, but overall one of the best ramen I’ve ever had just for how different it is from the offerings of other ramen places. The egg was nice and soft as well egg yolk perfectly done & egg white was soft to taste unlike the usual places. I usually don’t eat the egg in ramen cause it just takes too salty or like regular egg, but I wiped this whole bowl clean ramen, egg, chicken & all and that’s when I knew. The place is pretty small, can fit 4 separate parties at the tables 2 sets of tables can fit 2 people each, the other 2 sets of tables can fit about 4 people each. There’s also a counter top that can fit about 8 people so I don’t suggest coming with a large group. My friend and I got here right when there was a table for 2 open so we lucked out, but during our time there, we saw so many groups come and go so they are really busy! The lady who served us was a one woman team taking all the orders, serving and cleaning. I don’t know how she does it, but thought it was pretty amazing. My friend got the Miso Ramen $16, which she also thought was good. She liked that the chashu in it wasn’t fatty and was also a decent portion compared to another place we had tried a while back. As an appetizer, we ordered Takoyaki $8 for 6pcs, which was done pretty well, but honestly I could barely taste any octopus inside. It tasted more like batter so would’ve been better if there was more octopus. Still giving this place a 5 star review cause of that Chicken Ramen that was . I also heard a handful of customers mention they come everyday so you know what that says about the place!
This is a Japanese Ramen restaurant. The place is tidy and with a long queue. The services are good. The staff pays attention to details and sanitize the tables after the customers left. There are lots of Japanese decorations in the restaurant. I have ordered the black Ramen, which is bbq pork. The noodles is ok. We did not wait for a long time to get the dish. There are also appetizers, such as dumplings. What I like most is the attention of details of the restaurant, such as a hanger on the wall which allows customers to hang the handbags or coat in winter.
Objectively great ramen black garlic is the move. I advise you do dine-in rather than take out since the noodles were a little sad and half the toppings were missing. Better than average kimchi and it was a decent amount for the price. Restaurant is pretty small in size and it was crowded even around midnight. They’re open pretty late, which is a huge plus.
My favourite ramen in NYC!! I’ve been coming here for years, whenever I come to NYC… and I went here twice during my recent 1-week trip to NYC! Ramen broth is so flavourful & delicious, I’d finish the whole lot without a single drop left! Noodles and the chashu pork are so good too! And super friendly service!! I can’t wait to go back to NYC it’ll be a few years until I come back to NYC to have the ramen again!
Ramen broth was way too salty for me. The pork was extremely dry and tough, which I've never experienced at any ramen restaurant. They also only give one leaf of bok choy, which also makes the presentation sad. Restaurant staff was great but the ramen was not for me.Food: 3/5
When you want delicious, completely satisfying ramen and its 2:40am.... This place hits the spot in so many different ways. The broth is nice and balanced on the lighter side, the noodles are a more traditional style, and the meat is a great texture. It's pretty small inside but it's part of the more traditional ramen shop vibe and I'm into it. If you're ravenous definitely get some extra noods with it too. Amazing service, amazing food lovely I wish to live close to it to just eat there everyday. Cozy restaurant Japanese style. The white ramen with extra hot sauce is delightful.
Wintertime can be the greatest time to have a nice bowl of ramen. Ramen is a Japanese dish with a translation of "pulled noodles". It consists of Chinese wheat noodles served in a meat or fish-based broth, often flavored with soy. I ordered the black kakuni ramen ma-yu oil pork with egg, onion scallion. bok-choy in chicken and pork broth. The ramen had so much great flavor was tender and perfectly cooked, the broth was so perfectly cooked. The boiled egg was amazing very soft and tender. If you are thereafter 11 PM you can get extra noddle. I also share some appetizer with a few friends, fry chicken and octopus with wasabi sauces. The fried chicken was very tender and very delicious. The octopus was just fine not very impressed. The staff was attentive and professional.
