Best ramen I had outside of Japan. Get the noodle cold then dip in the hot broth. The texture was way better that way. Update: I changed to 4 stars because I went couple of times more after my first review and the noodle quality was not the same. The noodles used to have great texture but now I see different type of noodle being used.
I am from Japan. I had miso Ramen taste was good. If you prefer lighter ramen it’s not recommended. I just felt soup wasn’t hot enough. Service was ok. USA we have to pay for tip for service but often it isn’t good compare to Japan...
Love their shoyu ramen here. Broth is very soothing and flavorful. The noodles texture is just right. The ramen comes with a perfect egg with no extra charge and the porkbelly was braised nicely with a good porportion of fat and meat. I also love their tako wasabi octopus appetizer. I come here for lunch whenever I crave for ramen since it's near my work place. This place never disappoints me by far!
An enjoyable ramen lunch on a cold Sunday noon. Located on the lower ground level of a brownstone townhouse structure, the interior includes both table seating in the dining rooms as well as a large kitchen counter. The menu is small with a couple of soup-based ramens, but the quality of the food is on point, and they don't skimp on the quantity either.
Tasty broth of Spicy miss ramen, both my bf and I recommend it. And the liver appertizer is amazing! A staff recommend clam appertizer and my bf like the seasoning way so much. Fried chicken is okay.
This place makes us feel like we are sitting and eating ramen in Japan. Its cool decorations here!!! Ramen was so good. Staff very friendly.
If you are craving for some Tsukemen ramen, this is the place to go. The texture of the noodles was tender, and the broth was seasoned well. Aside from ramen, they have gyoza, karaage, and other small plates to nibble on. The location is situated on the bottom level of a brownstone and can be easily be missed.
Thukemen was perfect. I will definitely come back for it. But miso ramen was just ok. Not amazing. Wouldn't come back if I were there by myself and only tried misoramen...
The place is new, the decoration is really cool. We weren’t so sure of the ingredients because the names are Japanese, so we chose whatever and the noodles were so good, the prices are not expensive at all and we even got a discount. Give it a try, you won’t regret it.
Service was very good, but since I was there for the food... Had the shoyu ramen, preferred chicken karage with dark meet meat, and chopped raw onion just doesn't work for ramen IMHO. 3.5 stars.
