No Wave Coffee

Simple storefront that serves coffee to go. Baristas are friendly and the [vegan] pastries are amazing, IF you're lucky enough catch 'em before they're gone. I'm glad to have this quality local coffee spot just a short walk away.

Perfect coffee shop! The owner was working when I went and was so friendly and nice. They serve vegan pastries from Shoofly and their cold brew is perfection. So glad this is in my neighborhood!

No-frills neighborhood coffee shop with fast and friendly service. They carry vegan pastries from Shoofly which is delicious, I definitely enjoyed my "cheddar and bacon" scone! Stumbled upon this coffee shop and the lady at the shop was so nice and willing to help that I can't thank her enough.

Coffee To Go. The coffee is excellent and so is the service. I love the delicious vegan pastries. I also had no idea they were vegan until I noticed the sign. Keep your eye out, it can be easy to miss unless there is a line outside. Its walk up only right now due to the pandemic. Its unpretentious, its welcoming. Be sure to stop here for coffee and pastry on the go.

We love coming here, it’s walking distance from our place and we got often. The cold brew is so strong and delicious! The pastries are tasty and vegan! I love living so close to such a fantastic business!

Enjoying one of THE most delectably magnificent mochas I've had in AGES! Perfect pull, smooth and creamy foam, gorgeous Mocha flavor. Absolutely DIVINE and a wonderful way to bring some shine into an otherwise gloomy day!

With an unassuming exterior, No Wave Coffee may not grab your attention as you pass by on Portsmouth or nearby Lombard. Once you step through the doorway you'll find a unique neighborhood coffee shop serving up delicious unpretentious brews alongside a roomy seating area with an endless vinyl play list filling the airwaves. Chris, the owner and barista, is always friendly and engaging and has a heart for serving and helping his community. He is a one man show who does everything except on his day off when his delightful barista fills in. Courier Coffee provides excellent beans for his brews and he makes my most favorite cold brew coffee in town! So smooth and delicious and I love the extra large ice cube made from--not water, but more delicious cold brew! No Wave coffee has become a regular stop for me here on the peninsula and I hope it will be fir you too!
