Noodle Man

The most delicious Asian food in Virginia Beach.. The shrimp pork pan-fried dumpling is to-die-for. Noodle soup has nice flavor, not over-powered by sugar or salt, unlike many Asian restaurants in America. Very authentic chicken and mushroom noodle with good dashes of mushrooms and meat. Spring rolls are golden-fried and not oily at all! Good quality scrumptious food at reasonable prices Parking: Ample parking as it is in Haggood Shopping area.

I had checked out the reviews, asked around and everyone was right, Noodle Man is FANTASTIC! Small and personal location on N Independence in VB is great for a fulfilling bowl of unexpectedly layered and savory soup that may not be ramen...but ramen has met it's nemesis! Every noodle was fresh, in the bowl and wrapping the amazing pork wontons in chili oil. The wontons deserve much more praise than you might expect. Fresh wrap is like heaven, and with the chili oil and seasonings it is SO FRIGGIN good! Lastly, the texture.is.on.point! This appetizer has no business being so dynamic, engaging on a sensory level, and delicious. The shrimp app was damn good too. Sauce was fairly standard, but the shrimp was prepped and cooked perfectly. Well worth getting again. I had the Tomato and Brisket soup as recommended by the wait staff and added some soup oil from the table later. My god there was so much going on! Beefy, smooth, green onion hints, cilantro, bok choy, sesame and more lays in your tongue and soaks into each bite of those perfect noodles. I was going to have half and bring home leftovers...well you see from the pictures how that turned out LOL! Must have. Must go. Will enjoy!

Very tasty noodles, and I love how you can watch them make the noodles while you eat! The food was good and came out fast, but it is a little bit packed in the building. I would definitely recommend going here!Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: No

This is by far one of the best noodle place I've been to. This is really a diamond in the rough. I would have never imagined having such good noodle style Asian food in this town. Everything was full of flavor and tasted great. The staff is very nice and the place a always busy. If I'm every in town again I would make a trip to stop by again.

Recommended by a local friend so I had to try. We ordered spicy squid and pork wonton in hot chili sauce, the squid were delightful, not stringy at all, tender to the bite. However, the pork wontons were very salty to my taste. Onto the entrees! I ordered the hot spicy noodles and let me tell ya, it look hotter than it tasted, not spicy at all. The handmade noodles were delicious and the broth was on point. I thought the bowl came with sliced pork but instead it is ground pork. Wife loves her wonton noodles soup, you have the option of handmade or egg noodles, she went with egg noodles. I would love to see a similar place like Noodle Man in Charlottesville, highly recommend!

Saw the other reviews and went while in town on business, I'll definitely be back next month. The tomato beef brisket noodle soup is awesome!

Great noodle joint, quick, tasty, not too expensive. Get the egg. About ~$15 before tip. Tip your waitress!

Had dinner there last night with husband and teenage son for the first time. Place is clean. Staff pleasant,friendly. Stir fry noodles with vegetables was excellent. Waitress asked about spice preferences and suggested extra garlic. She was spot on. Thank you. We ordered an assortment of appetizers and dishes. Shared them family style. All were good.Teenage son liked everything. . Plenty leftover for dinner tonight. Will be returning.

Went here with a coworker for our lunch break because we wanted to eat somewhere different. One of the best decisions!! I ordered the house special fried rice and crab Rangoon wonton. So delicious. The favors were incredible. Mouth watered with every bite. The staff were very approachable and professional. The vibe in the restaurant was chill and relaxed. Definitely somewhere I'd invite a small number of friends, sit at the bar, and create memories. You can see the cooks through a glass and I was very intrigued by the way one cook was making noodles. Definitely returning to try more dishes. Recommend!

First time eating here. Ordered Fried Wontons, Spring Rolls & Cucumber salad for my appetizers. Entrée was the Vegetable Stir-Fried Noodles. Everything was great. The cucumber salad was amazing just the right amount of spice. The vegetables in the entrée were cooked perfectly & the noodles made at restaurant....delicious!! I'll be returning to try something different next time. The staff was courteous & friendly...even boxing up your leftovers if you so choose.
