Norman's Jewelry & Loan is a state licensed, family owned and operated up-scale jewelry store and Pawn Broker that has been in business since 1983. We expanded our showroom in 2005 from a 2500 square foot store to a 5000 square foot showroom located at 24777 Telegraph road, on the west side just south of 10 mile road in Southfield Michigan. We have a extensive, ever-changing inventory of JEWELRY, FURS, ART, MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS and much more with below wholesale prices. Our #1 goal is customer satisfaction. We have been in business in the same area for may years and have a perfect record with the Better Business Bureau.

MEET THE OWNER:

4Th Generation jeweler Benjamin Frank, owner and operator of Norman's Jewelry & Loan has a long history in the jewelry business. Having studied at the GIA (Gemological Institute of America) and worked at one of the largest wholesale jewelry companies in the country- Leo Frank & Sons, he has the expertise to help you with your jewelry and loan needs. At the age of 10 he began learning about the jewelry business. Working directly under his Father, John Frank (President of Leo Frank & Sons), Benjamin was able to attain industry knowledge first hand that would normally take a lifetime to attain! With his own custom jewelry line, "Clear Grey Designs" and extensive experience in jewelry, diamonds, watches, art and antiques, you can trust that you will be in good hands at Norman's.

Norman's is one of the only outlets in the U.S.A for LAZARS fine fur sales and storage. We have a HUGE inventory of new and previously owned fur coats and accessories. Come in and inquire about our fur services.

THE HISTORY OF PAWN:

Pawnshops were the earliest form of lending institutions and date back to ancient times. Pawnbrokers came with the first settlers to America. At the time, this was the main source of consumer credit as most everyone had at least one item that could be used as collateral for a short-term loan. People from all walks of life have used pawnshops in one-way or another. Some were borrowers and some were shoppers looking for a good deal. This type of business served a need for the person who was stuck between paydays and just wanted a short-term loan.
