I have had the privilege of taking my nieces and nephew to North Ballet for four years now. The children have learnt so much from the instructors. The classes help children form strong student friendships and a love for dance. The class structure is very formal, allowing clear boundaries and recognition of what needs to be focused on. LOVE LOVE LOVE... ( we drive 30 min to be able to give our children this opportunity ITS THAT GOOD)...

Fantastic ballet studio. We shopped around several dance schools for our daughter, and initially started her at a different studio in the area for her first year of dancing, before we found North Ballet Academy. Now she’s in the middle of her 4th year there, and it’s her favorite place to be. The owners and staff are all super professional, helpful, and kind. Not only do the kids have fun there, they also produce really talented dancers.

I loved it there, very Professional, and fun. I wanted to go another year, but my sister did not so my mother said no. Everyone was very nice, and polite, worth it all. My name is Clarice Stanley. At one point I just wanted to hang out with my friends, but I'm happy I didn't. I loved learning ballet, great experience! I wish I could keep doing it, I miss it so much! I loved doing the dance too, SOO much fun!! I loved the teacher, Ms.Dvorak (sorry if misspell, haven't been their in a year 🙃😉) I loved it though😊 I miss it 😞.

As good of a program as it may be there are some pretty poor decisions that have lead to this review and a firm warning to anyone who might entrust their children with North Ballet Academy and their staff. My young daughter came home extremely upset and embarrased asking us if she could wear a nude leotard next time because the instructors made her, and the other students, remove the required leotard to put on a costume. It wouldn't have been so bad if they gave her a private place to change, or let her change in the bathroom like she asked but instead, probably because they were too busy and overscheduled, had her change in front of all the other student, other boys, parents, dad's, to where she was just down to her underwear, no top, along with a half dozen other girls, in front of at least 25 other people....and then Mrs. Dvorak calls my wife and yells at her saying "it's part of dance that children will have to change their outfits" no apology as if it's just ok to parade my 6 year old daughter around naked in front of other boys, older boys, men. There was no communication to the parents they'd be changing outfits, parents can't watch the class because they allow other familes to camp out in the already cramped lobby for hours with her 5 sick children and under no circumstances will I teach my children it's ok to be naked around anyone other than your family for bathing purposes and the doctor only when necessary. If Mrs. Dvorak would have acknowledged that it wasn't appropriate and would take steps to ensure this wouldn't happen again I'd have no need to write this review but based on the response we received from Mrs. Dvorak it's unfortunately necessary. Would it be ok if your daycare did that? Soccer team? Gymnastics? Apparently it is at North Ballet Academy.
