North Idaho Propane

SO thankful they were there when we needed them! Previous owners drained the tank and left us without heat or hot water- unbelievably they got the tank filled in hours after hearing about our "hardship". Cannot thank them enough!!!!

I just want to say how disappointed I am in North Idaho Propane. We rent a home out in Athol, ID. Everyone who knows me, knows I'm a neat freak, and have ocd with keeping my house always clean. About a month ago, I was out of town visiting family and telling them about our future bundle of joy, that was cooking in my belly. When I arrived back home the propane had ran out. We called North Idaho Propane and let them know, they came the next day. I had gotten so sick(thinking I had the flu) I could not move. I have two small children, 3yrs and 4yrs old. So when I got sick( I rarely get sick!), they destroyed the house. I could not even call to have someone come over and help me with them... That sick. The driver came out, my house was a disaster. I still couldn't even move to pick anything up. The driver had a hard time finding the hot water tank, I couldn't even help because I could not even see straight. Thankfully he called the landlord and they helped him. He then left. That night I had apparently blacked out and was struggling to breathe. My husband rushed me to the emergency room and we found out I was having a miscarriage. And lost my baby. As if the loss of my child wasn't hard enough, North Idaho Propane has refused to come back out to the house to turn our propane on, because they saw my house and me in my most vulnerable time. I was a mess, and so was the house, but I had a miscarriage.... How is that supposed to look? Perfect? Because it wasn't for me, the loss of my child was hard enough, and for my family to be attacked in such a way is so disheartening. So now my family has no hot water, heat, stove or an oven, in the winter, because everything in this house runs off of propane. And we have looked into multiple propane agencies, and the earliest any of them can get here, is a week out. So because I had a miscarriage, my house was a mess, they won't come back out. So my advise to anyone using or looking into using North Idaho Propane, is please make sure your perfect. Don't have a miscarriage, and keep your house perfect. Or they may use that against you and refuse to come back out. My heart is in so much pain already, and to have my family freeze, because of me having a miscarriage is the absolute worst feeling. As if the loss of my child wasn't enough. Now my family is suffering because I could not pick up and clean that day. When any other day, my house is literally perfect.

I got a tank recertified and filled took it home hooked it up and I could smell propane. I suffered thru using it til it was almost empty. I took it back to you and asked for a new valve. I was told let me look at it. He said no it's fine. He filled it I took it home and it's still leaking. I called and was told if I wanted the valve changed I would have to pay to refill it again. I will be telling everyone I know just how horrible your customer service is.

I had tanks to certify and fill, they were honest about condition and quick to do certs and fill.

Called order propane they told me $275 and would not let me prepay witch I have been doing for years Because I have to budget things and then they charged me $330 and told me that there was nothing I could do. About it basically told me to my face we will rip you off and there is nothing you can do about Thanks for taking food out of my family's mouths YOU GUYS SUCK
