NJMMA is an awesome mma gym! The instructors there are very knowledgeable and are good in helping you understand the techniques. BJJ and kickboxing is a sport for everyone and I recommend this place to anybody who is interested!

Been taking my son here for about a year now and in that year he's learned so much. It's a great place to take your kids to learn the skills of jiu jitsu. All of the coaches are amazing and kind!

Best place to train MMA in the area! The instructors are very knowledgeable, the atmosphere is absolutely amazing, and you will be having great workouts while learning martial arts and how to defend yourself! Love NJMMAA!

After several years of training Karate, I wanted to try something else. After speaking with a long time friend about Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, as well as Kickboxing, he said he had been training at a school in the area, North Jersey Mixed Martial Arts Academy. Upon stepping into the facility, Head Instructor Garrett Goldsberry and staff welcomed me with open arms. February 2011, my life long journey with BJJ, Kickboxing and NJMMAA started. Since that day I have noticed, as well as others around me, my attitude, life outlook, patience, and work ethic has changed in a positive manner. For the short time I have been training at NJMMAA I have built a comradery with individuals that can never be taken away. I strongly suggest taking the first step into the facility and allowing Instructor Goldsberry guide you the rest of the way.
