Northampton House - Weddings and Events

Very cool, great place for weddings and gatherings. Really good photo ops. Large parking area. Nice grounds. Clean and well maintained. I would only suggest the thermostat be turned down. It became quite warm with a hundred people in there. Would totally recommend though.

I have attended four retirement dinners and one wedding luncheon at the Northampton House in the last few years. From soups to pasta to meat entrees, it has all been delicious. The price is very reasonable and we have never been disappointed. It is a lovely venue and the staff is great to work with. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for an event center. (I told my sister about it when she was stressing over her sons wedding luncheon and she was able to plan a meal within her budget that was perfect for a winter meal.)

My daughter held her reception at Northampton House. The room and grounds were beautiful, and our organizer was attentive and helpful throughout. Everything was tastefully decorated and ready to go when we arrived. We added a few personal touches, which they helped with. Catering was good - Italian sodas were a big hit. Overall, a great experience.

We had a lovely experience! This beautiful venue was once my childhood church and I have so many fond memories. The staff was so helpful and accommodating...bending over backwards to make our night special. They graciously offered us the use of the beautiful former chapel for our ceremony when the weather proved to be unsettled. My daughter was thrilled and will have many fond memories of her own. THIS PALCE IS WAY OVER PRICED AND NOT WORTH THE MONEY. CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS LACKING BIG TIME!!!! FOOD WAS NOT GOOD!! I think the place looks very nice. They have made it look very pretty. The problem came the night of the event. The food we ordered did not taste good at all. It was like they spilled salt in the sugar cookies. They were so bad that my kids wouldn't even eat them. The brownies we not good either. The lemon bar were okay, they would have been better if they had more lemon and not so much of the shortcake crust. The white chocolate shooters were great. They were the best thing we got beside the soda bar. At the end of the night we were told that we would get any extra food that was not served. When we went in the kitchen to ask a question they had only given us a small amount of the leftovers. I didn't really need that many but I feel for the amount of money we paid, we should be the ones to decide who gets them or not.
