Northeast Stars Montessori DC

As a former teacher at Northeast Stars Montessori, I can tell you that the schools and the teachers are amazing. They are some of the hardest working people I have ever met, and only want the best for the children and the families that walk through their doors. I went back to grad school, which is why I stopped working there, but I would go back in a heartbeat. Each child gets individual attention, and they work with families to make sure they are getting the best education. I went back to the Alexandria location just last month to say hi, and the classroom was amazing! I can't wait to visit DC to see what wonderful things are going on there. If you want a great school at an affordable cost and that gives you and your child individual attention, then look no further that Northeast Stars Montessori!

I scheduled 2 visits here. My first impression was that the school was too artificially lit for my liking. While the teachers seemed great, you know gentle and patient with the children and just welcoming and warm and the place smelled great. I really wanted a school with more natural lighting. So I told them. ( the admin). and VOILA! They listened. It was an apparently easy fix. They opened up more blinds. It makes a HUGE difference. So during my second visit, I was amazed. The school's not half bad. I liked that they listened and worked with me. Means a lot. Im still looking at a few for a schools ( closer to home) for my little one but NSM is definitely on the top of my list.
