If you’re looking for an awesome children’s birthday party, I highly recommend this place! We’re from Reno and have been to so many birthday parties where you’re just a number and another face. Nyls was so great and fully engaged from the get-go. We had over 20 kids of all ages and he was so patient with all of them. It was non-stop entertainment: from karate lessons, laser tag, and samauri sword cake-cutting, to karate chopping a board for the grand finale. I had so many parents come up to me and tell me their kids said it was the best birthday party they’d ever been too. Will definitely be back for future birthday parties. Highly recommend!

I started at Northwest with my Daughter in 2006. Now, three of my four kids attend here and I get in when I can. The staff here is undeniably some of the best people you could have work with and teach your kids. They get it! Discipline is as important to what they do as any technique. You will not regret attending here or having your kids attend!

My oldest son began at NWMA 4 years ago and now our entire family attends class here. It's so much more than a school, it's a family. We all have each others back and enjoy watching our children (and each other) learn and grow. If you've ever considered enrolling yourself or your child in a martial arts program, then this is the one you should try!

My kids have enjoyed the Little Ninjas program and are now enjoying the youth program. The instructors are great with the kids, instructing them not only in martial arts but ethics, self-control and confidence. I highly recommend Northwest Martial Arts.

My daughter LOVES this place!!! She looks forward to class every day and is so proud of herself when she gets a stripe or a belt!!! With her being ADHD it's hard for her remember or concentrate on anything but the instructors are patient and she learns, remembers, and accomplishes everything they want her to!!! Amazing place and people!! Will always and forever recommend them!!!!
