Respect, appreciation, and a genuine love of the land led Bill Nowell to found the Nowell Tree Farm in 1981.

Story

An Arizona native from a farming family, Bill’s life has naturally been interwoven with agriculture, the land, and, the things that grow on it. Nowell Tree Farm has a unique capability to grow an almost unlimited variety of nursery stock. At a young age, while employed flagging crop dusters, Bill realized the potential damage of the chemicals used on crops. Nowell Tree Farm avoids harsh pesticides and still produces healthy, lush and beautiful specimens.

Past experiences as a general contractor (building custom and spec.homes) and also providing extensive landscape designs are benefits because we know how to work with you. We know that the popularity of specific plants can be fickle. By keeping up to date and collecting and cultivating rare native seedlings, we can continue to provide cutting edge flora.
