On the behalf of my son, our experience with the Judson Health Clinic was nothing less than excellence. From the time we walked in to leaving, we were treated with respect and kindness. All the staff was attentive to our needs and made sure everything was in place for our visit. Dr. M. Baehser is an excellent doctor. Very detailed, kind, and humorous which made my 20-year-old son with Autism comfortable enough to talk and have an important conversation with him. I would recommend this office to anyone. And it's located in one of the best areas in NYC. After, you can definitely get a bite to eat at one of the fine restaurants located in the area.
I found this clinic after doing research online for a Dr. who specializes in adolescents for my teenage son. I could not be any happier than I am now after finding Dr. Baehser. . He takes the time to really get to know his patients and goes above and beyond to make sure their needs are met. My son also likes him tremendously and is super comfortable with him. The clinic itself is always spotless and the entire staff is always helpful and friendly. I feel very lucky to have found The Judson Health Clinic.
Very respectful and considerate staff. The doctors are usually on time and there is a good range of services here. It's great to have affirming medical care for the LGBTQ community.
I really am only give this because I waited 2 months for an appointment with a doctor that walked in and says you are one of my very last patients, I am retiring. She was nice enough, normal visit. I have bad back problems and told her this, at that point some arrangement could have been made to be transferred over to another doctor there, even if had to wait a little more again. As I expressed myself that I really would like to stay with them. But I was seen, was seen again thru video and was told then that there is no openings at all with any of the other doctors. That seems a bit irresponsible, especially since I clearly waited 2 months and expressed myself as wanting to stay with them. Was told basically find another doctor. Not what I would call "care" for the patient in any way. Also, one lady there at the desk has a very poor attitude, probably the worst I ever had to deal with in a place of health and care. Horrible.Don't get in this business if you are not patient and looking out for patients health. This place is no pill mill it's an actual primary health care doctor office,so there is no reason to be that nasty. This is at 34 Spring Street. This was in October 2021,I have heard great things otherwise pertaining to nurses and other doctors, that's why I waited so long for my appointment. UPDATE:: I decided to give them another try and I know January is good time to make appointments, so I go in and I get an appointment for 2 weeks later, which was great start. Then I talked with a nurse that is very nice, I'm horrible with names I will add you on when I come in next. Then I saw the doctor and I can't at how blown away I was: her welcoming spirit and smile, actually listened to what I had to say and took action and told me what I have to do next with my referrals and gave me my next appointment for April, Dr. Lamonica! Thank you and the nurse called me couple days later and we spoke about certain nutrition and I never had a follow up call like that, that quick. Wonderful nurse I just can't remember her name t moment. This was the best primary care doc and nurse experience I ever had! So it's only rt to give them new review! Thank you so much and Mr David Royar thank you too!
As a youth who is open and part of the LGBTQ+ community, I just want to say that going to this clinic is incredible. The nurses are friendly, the environment is pretty cool and small I personally don't like hospitals, and Dr. Mark Baehser is probably one of the best doctors I have ever met. Like other doctors don't get to know you like how he does, he listens and takes action to whatever problems or concerns one may have. Plus with the MyChart app now existing, communicating about your health is simple and less time-consuming, which is essential to have nowadays!.
I’ve recently started coming to Judson Health Center and I must say that it is one of the most pleasant health clinics that I’ve been too in a while. The staff is super friendly and helpful. They’re welcoming and have great attitudes. The location is a little dated but does not take away from the great service. The clinic is good for adolescent patients, not only focusing on sexual education but also health issues that some may have like asthma and other things. The nursing staff is fast and gets the job done right when the doctor is ready to see you. I’ve enjoyed my visits so far and highly recommend any young adult to visit this clinic.
The staff are friendly and provide a safe environment for LGBTQ+ community. I moved to NYC from CT about 6 months ago so worried about finding a doctor for my needs as a trans person and I was referred here and have been more than pleased with the help I receive. They take Medicaid as well which has been very helpful. I go here for my check ups, vaccinations, therapy and blood work. There’s so much more! Thank you to the doctors and staff here. I highly recommend
First time visiting a healthcare center and doctor in 2 years. Was pleasantly surprised by the great service and excellent staff. Was greeted warmly by Felicia the receptionist on arrival and she was very helpful with the paperwork. I saw Dr Rachel Bring who made me feel comfortable and at ease. She was easy to communicate with, listened and answered all my questions. I genuinely felt the doctor cared and wanted to help. Definitely recommend this practice.
Dr. Mark and all of the staff at Judson are the best! This really is a great clinic for young adults and its made great by everyone who works there. He takes the time to listen and get to know you, you're not just another patient. I love the easy access of quickly being able to set an appointment by sending him a text message through an app, that’s super convenient. I feel very well taken care of, I highly recommend the Judson health center to anyone.
The staff is great! Dr. Mark is a great doctor that actually cares about his patients, he is not the kind of doctor who barely looks at you and prescribes medication. He actually is interested in knowing you and is willing to help! One of the nurses, Alma, is a sweet heart; very patient and caring. The secretary, Felicia is also patient and very nice! I strongly recommend this facility to anyone, but mainly to young people and undeserved communities. It's a place free of judgment! All they care is about you as a person, not your immigration status or financial situation.
