NYX Professional Makeup

I needed some really fun, highly pigmented eye and lip stuff for my holiday party coming up. I was in union square and walked into NYX - the products are good quality and immediately you can see tons of color and format options. PROS - They had a selfie station, with a ring light - although it all looked turned off and no one was using it. - They had a few really friendly employees there who were very attentive and offering to help me find what I wanted. - They had several brightly lit mirror stations where you could test products and see how they look before buying CONS - the product merchandising felt really overwhelming.... there was no easy visual way to navigate the store. It was like being in a drugstore.

Had a nasty experience with one of the “makeup artists” here...unkempt pink hair and dirty attire and didn’t help me at all. The staff here look like they don’t want to be here. I was explaining my problem with concealers creasing on my skin and the pink hair girl walks away from me then throws someone else my way that still didn’t know what they were talking about ...disgusting behavior very rude!!! Humble urself!!! Don’t come in here Go to MAC! Better service.

Love this little nook of NYX Cosmetics magic. It's located conveniently at Union Square so it's very easy to find. You can use the testers without being hassled and the attendants are super nice and helpful

Well organized and everyone is helpful including the security guard. Great return policy and a pretty amazing selection. Great for when you don't want to spend a lot of money in a place like Sephora but still get great products or to try the new trends.

I love makeup but, sometimes I like not spending an arm and leg for a new on-trend lipstick/eye shadow. I stop by here once a month to update my makeup bag or to check out sales. The customer service can be hit or miss. Sometimes, The customer service reps can go above and beyond and other times they can flat out ignore you and be rude. The makeup, however, is good quality for the price and they have sales constantly.

Has all the products, even ones in unpopular colors you normally have to order on line. Staff is very helpful without being overbearing. I got product recommendations and makeup tips. The store is pretty small and packed with people, so it's tricky to navigate with a big bag. They also offer personalized makeup lessons!

I'm not a huge fan of makeup personally but I really enjoyed the friendliness of the staff at this store. They even offer free makeup lessons two people who schedule an appointment and will purchase a set amount of product at the end. The prices seemed reasonable and location was great.

For a novice, this store had all I needed for my mixed race skin! Shout our to the lovely make up artist who took time out to ensure I had what I call the beginners guide. Store is great, great vibe, positive energy and fun.so glad I went in there.

Came here when it was a bit slow and had a very pleasant experience. The associate was very helpful, listened to my concerns and didn't make us feel pressured to buy products we didn't ask for. Quality makeup at an affordable price.

I finally found where This NYX location was located and I was very excited about making a visit as it was going to be my very first visit to a NYX store. I must say I was very disappointed, the customer service was horrible. The workers were extremely rude and I basically found everything I needed on my own. I LOVE NYX PRODUCTS AND WILL CONTINUE TO SHOP FOR THEM BUT I WILL BE LOOKING AT A DIFFERENT LOCATION TO BUY. I'm loving the CAN'T STOP WON'T STOP line. The full coverage is the bomb along with the primer. The metallic lipsticks LOVING those as well. Anyway thank you for your line of makeup and brushes.
