Oak Brook Park Apartments

Lived here for about 2 years now. They don't spray for ants so if you leave anything on the ground such as cat food, expect ants all over it in the morning. Since I've lived here our washer, dishwasher, garbage disposal for our sink, have broke. When maintenance does get called they do a lousy job, like when they fixed the garbage disposal the first time it broke in a week. The one good thing I can say about this place is the people working at the office are pretty cool and helpful.

If I can give them zero stars I would. Management team is a joke. There was always some issue going on if it wasn’t plumbing issues, it was AC problems. DO NOT RECOMMEND. They will find a way to overcharge you for anything.

My partner and I were thinking about living here, and when our plans changed and we decided not to move to Nebraska, they did not give back our refundable deposit for the apartment. We have called multiple times and each time we are told “they will call us back,” but they never do. I would not recommend this place becuase they have been unresponsive and uncooperative for the entire duration we were working with them.

Oakbrook Park Apartments have been so great for my husband and I to have our first apartment in. The facility is nice and the community is wonderful. Randy and his team are always on top of it whenever we would have a maintenance problem and they were really quick with answering the phones and answering our questions. I highly recommend this complex. It’s safe for kids, couples, and just about everyone!

Overall, this apartment complex was everything I was looking for. The staff was extremely helpful in the beginning process, throughout the lease, and the ending of it. The maintenance staff was quick with any issues I had, and always did the job right. The apartment itself was everything I was looking for the right price. The neighbors I had were all friendly and the building is very quiet. I would recommend this to anyone as the overall experience was great as well as the location.

I have lived in Oak Brook Apartments for 6 years now in 3 different apartments. I have always had a good experience until this year. I have been very disappointed. I had the neighbors above me move in and they have been disrespectful and very loud since day 1. They play their bass, pounding walking, etc. I have complained multiple times to management and nothing has been done. I have lived in apartments almost my entire life and I know what "apartment noises" are and the neighbors above me are not just making "apartment noises". It is loud noises all day everyday. I even recorded multiple occasions of when they have been very loud for documentation. The management has not taken my complaints seriously and have done nothing. I even found out that the apartment manager laughed at my complaints. I tried reasoning with the neighbors above me as well and they have not taken me seriously either. I am very disappointed in how this situation has been handled or not been handled by management and when my lease is up I will be moving because of this situation.

Overall a great option for the price and location. I have had no problems with the office staff they are quite accommodating and have always been professional and respectful. Maintenance is prompt, thorough and friendly. The pool has been clean and not overcrowded. If you come home late sometimes you have to park a little farther but there is always someplace to park. I also appreciate the option of additional storage at a very affordable rate.

Lived there for 3 years, had multiple problems with refrigerator and washer. Had $200 of groceries spoil because of refrigerator not being fixed properly the first 2 times and never was reimbursed after dropping off receipts multiple times. Apartment across the hall caught fire and I ended up with water damage and loss of furniture the apartment never reimbursed me for. Then upon moving out the apartment kept my deposit saying they had to repaint, which every apartment is repainted after someone moves out. I would not recommend these apartments for my worst enemy.

I lived here for about 2.5 years with my two little girls. It was overall nice, included a washer and dryer and the floor plan suited us. A few issues here and there, but nothing that would warrant a bad review or even a mention of them. I felt like it was a good price for what I got and the location was nice.

I've lived in 3 complexes over the past 8 yrs. Been here 2 years and I love it! Quiet community with great management. If I have an issue, they respond in record time! Can't say enough about my experience here!
