Oak Park Mall

The awesome thing about this mall - besides existing, since malls seem to be dying out in general -- is the carousel! I love these nostalgic rides, and this is a gorgeous one. Dolphins (pictured), dragon horses and sea horses, hares, and more... not just horses. It's well maintained and regulated for safety, clean and fun. In all honesty, that last sentence sums up the entire mall. The food court is clean, restrooms well kept and there's a nice selection of stores to browse. I love coming to this mall.

I love this mall! I take my daughter to the carousel and play area that’s located right outside of Dillard’s on the North entrance(women’s Dept.) I love that they upgraded the play area with new climb on equipment which was donated my the SM hospital. There are many good places for me to shop here like MAC cosmetics in Dillard’s, Windsor, lady Footlocker and the Disney store for my daughter. The food court is big, but should consider more healthy options to choose from. Most things there are fried, heavily seasoned or greasy. I do like that they have Chipotle though. Usually packed to the max on Weekends, but very slow and quiet during weekdays. I love to go during the weekdays!

Great place for shopping. Good variety of stores and kiosks. They recently got new toys in the play area and it's a great place for tots to burn energy on a cold/rainy day. The carousel is a fan favorite, but it's kinda pricey. Santa and the Easter Bunny come every year as well. Also has a pretty good sized food court.

Excellent mall, still full of tons of stores. Great place to shop when the weather outside is bad. Good variety of places to eat and several play areas for the kids and a two story merry go round is available to ride. Two levels help spread people out, but can be pretty packed on weekends and holidays. The food court has a lot of great choices and next to the food court is a place to rent a shopping cart/stroller for the afternoon. There is some limited parking in the parking garage, as long as you arrive early there is usually enough space.

Best shopping center in the metro by far. Not only do they have more stores than any other mall in the city, it’s enclosed so you can shop without being miserably cold in the winter months.
