First I would like to thank the entire staff at Obedient Paws for taking wonderful care of my pup. Adam and his team did a great job training our boy Midas. They did an even better job training my wife and I. It's a very worthy investment to have a well behaved dog. Consider doing a consult so you can see what he can do in a short amount of time.
By far the best experience for my dog AND me. Adam and his team helped us so much. Baxter recently started getting aggressive and I needed help immediately before he hurt someone. Within 10 minutes of arriving for my first meeting, Adam had Baxter under control! I knew I found the right place to protect Baxter from himself and help me be a better owner. Three weeks of hard work from everyone…Adam, Lacey, Patrick, Sally, Baxter and me…I brought home a dog who is a much better version of himself. My neighbors have even commented how wonderful and in control Baxter is now! I cannot thank Adam and his staff enough for their dog wisdom, patience, commitment and support. And most importantly, for the love they gave Baxter while he was stay there for training. He is so much better for having been trained by this devoted team. Thank you all so very much!
Our dog Chester went to the board and train for a total of 5 weeks. We were at our last option because Chester was starting to become aggressive towards me around my girlfriend and resource guard her including biting me on the arm. My trust in him was at an all time low and felt I couldn't let my guard down around him. We were too the point of rehoming talks. He is a 4-5 year old rescue pit that is very stubborn and hard headed, he listens out of compliance and not to please his owners. High anxiety that needed boundaries and ability to listen to command. Adam worked with Chester on leash control , recall and the leave it command. He helped teach us as owners how to better control Chester and ultimately lead him to success. All the trainers there showed Chester losts of love especially Patrick and worked with him extensively training him. He's still a work in progress and will forever be but he made giant leaps at Obedient Paws as well as us as owners. I continue to work with Chester daily. Walking with Chester now is a breeze as he doesn't pull anymore and will recall off leash if he escapes. And he has yet to show me any agression as I think he now understands who's his leader. And my trust in his is all time high and continuing to grow along with our relationship . Thanks Obedient Paws.
I can’t say enough great things about Adam and his amazing team! We’ve had two of our pups in bootcamp and daycare over the past 4 years. Adam and his team are attentive and really do care about the well-being of our four legged kids. Our puppy went in with the typical puppy “do what I want” personality and came out a charming boy that we absolutely enjoy being around. Like others have said in other reviews, the difference is night and day and it is worth every penny.
Obedient Paws is awesome. Adam and his staff basically saved my “Bandit”. I was afraid I would have to give him up. He was wild as a bat. Three weeks later a different dog. Well behaved and obedient. Thank you Obedient Paws.
Where should I start : Blue Healer puppy , jumping on furniture , guarding food , not able to walk on a leash running through the doors knocking people over and a step from being gone to a new owner. Found Adam - Obedient Paws - now a completely different dog , listens , rides in truck ,not guarding anymore, walks on leash and really an awesome dog Really not sure where he would of been without Obedient Paws , the staff is great , if you are really a dog lover and want the most out of your family friend - THIS PLACE COMES HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !!! Thanks again !!!
Adam did an incredible job in a short amount of time! Our boys, Oliver and Murray, needed discipline and manners. I should say their parents needed the help to teach them and become their leader. Adam accomplished that. They are easy to walk and far more social.
We were desperate. Echo, our 1 year old hound mix adopted from a shelter, had many issues. We are his 3rd home; he had separation anxiety, was nonstop pulling on the leash, knew commands but would not obey, stubborn, pushy & bratty. A weekly training class close to home didn’t really help. It was not working out, and mom, the primary caretaker, was not happy. We were getting close to returning him, but our kids loved him. ObedientPaws 4 week Boot Camp was a choice we are glad we made! Oh boy, who knew what a love this little guy could be! His anxiety is way down and he is much more comfortable in his own skin. Walking him is now pleasant. He immediately responds to commands, no more thinking about it & then declining the invitation. Adam and his team spent a lot of time training not just Echo but also us especially dad. They encouraged coming to training sessions as often as possible, did one on one with us, and provided helpful insights. This process is as much parent training as puppy training and they do a great job. Training doesn’t stop on graduation from Boot Camp and Adam contacted us the next day to see how it was going and offer advice. We aren’t the type to comment online but Adam and his team deserve recognition. We thank them from the bottom of our hearts for returning our household to peace & happiness!
