Office Depot

They USED TO BE good and friendly. Not any more! We were IMMEDIATELY greeted with rudeness and assuming we're only there to shoplift and told to leave everything with them (in hopes that they don't steel from us) and told to get out when I objected. A small mesh bag, easily see through, nearly empty. We weren't acting suspicious. We simply walked in to buy a few things and get some printing done. I later talked to a manager and was told they've had shoplifting problems. Alright, because you lose a relatively small amount to shoplifting, you tell a much larger portion of your customers that they must be thieves, and that the very slight possibility of losing a miniscule amount of money vastly outweighs the money you were definitely going to make, so to take their business elsewhere. This has NEVER BEFORE BEEN A PROBLEM here or at any other Office Depot, as well as virtually all other stores. I called elsewhere to confirm this isn't a new policy and up to the individual store. Walmart has even relaxed their treating everyone like shoplifters. They need to learn how to properly address shoplifting risks. Assuming that's the only reason someone came in, is NOT the way to handle this! You don't want customers possibly steeling from you, well your customers don't want you possibly steeling from them as they leave everything with you. You say that your employees are on camera and wouldn't steel from us? The same goes the other way around. Stop treating every customer like trash!

This is another store that seems to always need the shelves stocked. Do I just come to these places after a big run or something? They hardly have anything I need. The young lady at the register is still learning about humor and what constitutes "funny", and takes too dang long to ring me up......lately I prefer Staples...

I go here A LOT. They have most of my business needs covered. They've gone over and above in filling orders for me. Most of the employees are extremely kind and helpful.

Staff was not very knowledgeable. I was passed around between 4 different people. They seemed too busy to help.
