I love this place! They are always courteous, professional, prompt and helpful. Dr Anna Nguyen has managed my care for the last 7 years and I am so happy with her. She always takes plenty of time to listen and answer all my questions and concerns. I would highly recommend Ogata Eye Care.

The doctor was very pleasant both times I went. But while I wasn't told about a copay while I was there, I got a bill for $40 after my appointment mailed to my street address, not my mailing address. It had a big yellow Past Due stamp on it and a late charge for a 30 day old bill. So now my new landlords think I'm a deadbeat. Thanks Ogata Eye Care! Heres your $40 and your one star review.

I'm happy with how they've been working with me to find the right contact lens prescription - not an easy task due to the nature of my prescription. I feel optimistic that even if contacts never work out for me, we will have given a good try with all the available options.

Came in for an eye exam because I have never had one. The tech was efficient and the doctor was quick and efficient as well. I was in and out, had good positive things to say about my eye health which made me feel good as well. Thank you.

No hyperbole, but I credit the doctors here with saving my vision this past summer. In June of 2021, I made a routine appointment to get new contacts; thinking my prescription had simply changed. Turns out my retina had detected and I was at risk of imminent blindness in one eye! The optometrist empathetically explained the scary situation to me and over the next hour and a half, she made multiple calls with my insurance to explain to them the gravity of the situation and made sure I got the care I urgently needed. Once we had a plan, she let me leave the office and three days later, I had emergency surgery through my insurance to save my vision. Ogata EyeCare followed up to make sure I’d seen a retina specialist and they really seemed to care that I had gotten care! I have been going to this location for many years, I think since at least 2014 or 2012 and the staff has always been polite, friendly, and professional. I will never go anywhere else as long as I live in Portland. Thank you for taking care of me.

The doctor that saw me was very confident, comforting and reassuring. He was focused in the health of my eyes and I appreciate that. Great staff.

lovely place, the staff were nice & patient with me and there were signs reminding people to keep their masks on the whole time so I felt safe. Very modern equipment gave me confidence they would spot anything I'd need to know. Doctor explained things clearly using simple language and in as much detail as I wanted
