Great concert sound! Different levels, so everyone can view the concert. The bar was pretty good and staff handled the crowds very well. Not rude or pushy, very polite and talkative. Definitely a great concert venue with the ability to see your favorite artists up close and not have to pay VIP prices. Inexpensive and affordable.
Great general admission venue. Staff is always friendly and bar staff is great at moving people through quickly and the acoustics are solid and the sound system sounds good and it’s got a tier floor plan so it makes it easier for the shorter people to see.
Smaller intimate venue, but definitely has a cave feel to it. Nothing about it feels 'especially 'nice', but you are close to the stage, and the venue puts forth good sound quality as well. Would return to see another show here if the opportunity presented itself.
I live in Texas and traveled to see a show at the Ogden theatre. Interesting to see how places like this are run in other areas of the US. Was pleasantly surprised with the staff and even the people in the crowd. The sound was the best I’ve heard at any venue I’ve been to. Loved how there were many different viewing levels. You could see the stage clearly from just about anywhere. Would return in the future.
We saw hiatus coyote and it was a lot of fun. The theater packs a lot more than it looks like I would guess there were well over a thousand people but it didn't feel like that. No seating just standing everywhere except for just a few VIPs so be prepared to stand the whole evening.
Pretty nice venue, good lighting, GREAT sound. Tiered floor, so decent line of sight throughout. Turn your beer cups back in, they care about the environment!
Went to the Ogden for the first time to see The Floozies! The venue was clean including restrooms, easy to move around in, and has multiple bars for refreshments. But the best part, the sound! We stood on the balcony for most of the show and it was LOUD with floor-rattling bass, yet mids/trebles were still clear. Fog machines were used to fill the whole venue! Very impressive projector and laser displays too! I'll be back!
I really want to like the Ogden. I love the history of it, the layout, bartenders are always fast and efficient. The problem is the shows feel OVERSOLD almost every sold out show I've ever been to there. Which is most of them. You have to get early to secure a decent spot and then be prepared to be surrounded and squeezed in by the time the headliner comes on. I have no problems with crowded shows, but when people are being forced off of walkways because there's nowhere else to stand... Might be a problem. I'm never excited when an artist I want to see is coming through here
Great place for a concert, was excited to see a show after such a long time... Feels like they have made some nice upgrades
What a great show! Sabaton really killed it. Great staff and a nice medium capacity venue. General admission worked out great. Will go back as soon as possible. Thanks!
