Cool venue for live music. Jam band hippie vibe is what you can expect. Pool tables, nice size patio and a gift shop of sorts selling handmade goods. Can't knock the hustle. Dance floor is nice as well. I'm sure on a slamming night, this place is packed!!! Check'em out if you're in the mood for good vibes.
Cool Grateful Dead themed bar downtown. Walking distance to everything else so it makes for a good stop on a pub crawl or an excellent vibe to spend the whole night. Full drink selection and prompt service. Great sound system for the live music, but there’s also a couple of places to hang out far from the stage if you want to talk. In my opinion it’s one of the coolest spots around.
Great vibe and Jay is bringing in some good musicians in this venues early life. If you like the Grateful Dead you should check this place out.
Great and funky live music venue and very nice bartenders. Tons of Greatful Dead, Janis Joplin etc memorabilia. Poor beer selection and tap beer wasn't cold
Look, if you know anything about Jay Bianchi's venues, you know what to except. This isn't a trendy, fashion forward club with mixologists and yoga music. It's a Grateful Dead themed dive like all his venues and it caters to that crowd. If you're a deadhead, or enjoy the festival scene in general, you might enjoy this spot. Hey, there's cheap cheap booze, plus if you're looking for other ways to affect your brain and you aren't completely naïve then there's usually new friends to be made. You might get funny looks if you're an outsider to that culture, but hang around enough and folks will warm up to ya. The stage is, well, not high quality by any standard and that's not surprising if you've been to other JB venues. Often times the bands are bland, directionless noodlebois or half-hearted Dead cover bands. There are occasionally great acts that play here. The open jam on Tuesday is a great place if you're looking for a novice open mic, but don't come looking to cut with the baddest cats in town, they jam elsewhere. All in all, I appreciate Jay memorializing the band and giving wooks a safe space. It's not the worst place in town, but it ain't pretty. Check out the GD memorabilia, it literally covers the venue wall to wall.
Just played a little show tonight here. I feel like a stray dog finally finding a home. Beautiful place and beautiful people. Thank you Be On Key!
Great music venue. Tons of show posters and art decorate the walls giving a great feel to the venue. Good sound and good service at the bar. On warm days you can get something hot off the grill out back. They also have a small arcade area.
This place is super cool! From the artwork to the people it attracts everything is quite nice! The staff is wonderful and drinks are strong what more could you want in a bar?? So dust off those dancing shoes and get your ass down to the Ripple you will not be disappointed :
Great venue for grateful cover bands and the occasional outdoor show. Open mic on Tuesdays and the ambiance is spectacular. Old Dead tickets/posters/clothes/pins as well as pool and ping pong while you jam to the band.
Awesome atmosphere if you are a fan of the Grateful Dead. Plenty of room, ample dance floor, outdoor patio and parking around back. Food cooked on a BBQ for purchase outback. Very friendly crowd and everyone loves to dance
