It’s a nice local Atlanta classic restaurant with great service. The servers have this nice good looking old school uniform which is unique and I like it. Oh and there’s also a take away section in the back which is pretty cool because you get to select whatever you wanna eat. The milk shake was really good. The crispy fried chicken wasn’t oily which was just want I wanted. Over all, the food and service was great and I’ll definitely come back soon!
This place is so good! Great comfort food, the thanksgiving turkey plate was amazing the hero was the cornbread dressing. One of the last throw back diners left. Our waitress was so nice. Visiting Atlanta highly recommend the trip over for a meal.
This place looks small from the outside yet it's huge from the inside. The women's and men's bathrooms were both impeccably spotless and well stocked. The decor is cute and nostalgicaly old school, loved that the waitresses were all in vintage uniforms. The restaurant was very clean, the staff worked well together and the flow from waiting to ordering was smooth and timely. Loved the quality of ingredients stated in back of menu and when the food arrived it showed! The prices are fair for the quality and portions. Appreciated that they offered an herbal iced tea it was an unsweetned red zinger today, the kids shared a dry aged porch chop w/ black eyed peas, 3 cheese macaroni with a corn muffin they ate a large portion of it, leaving only the macaroni as it was very rich, i had the tuna salad sandwich with onions added on sourdough + a side a fries, it was fantastic! My husband had the chicken pot pie with collard greens and black eyed peas - the whole meal was a hit! This will be our new go to location from now on! I also loved that on one end of cafe they have a market with a hot grab and go section and desserts! Definitely a good idea of you want a good meal for the road or picnic! Will be returning and recommending! Vegetarian options: offered a 4 plate vegetable meal Parking: plenty of handicap and regular parking Wheelchair accessibility: easily accessible for wheelchairs and other mobility assistance modules.
OK Cafe is still outstanding. Eat in with table service not a problem. Order to go customers are asked to order online. The only way around that is to sit at the counter and place your order. The waitress will bring you a large paper bag and large plastic to go trays. You've got to move the food from the plates to the trays. Time from placing your order to walking out is less than ten minutes. Moving the food is a pain but only takes a few minutes. Awesome meal at home. Quality food. Large portions. Pay at the counter when you leave. Tip your waitress when you pay. I highly recommend you visit OK Cafe when you want to eat a great Atlanta home cooked meal. The meal comes with everything you need. Thank you
Love this restaurant. Fresh, delicious southern comfort food. Collard greens & real corn muffins today were the best I have ever tasted! Squash casserole was just perfect and flavorful. Green beans were amazingly delicious. Southern Fried chicken was full of flavor & tender with crisp batter. The servers are quick & friendly. Price range is on target. Worth the wait.
Used to work up here a d go occasionally. Today was my first visit I think since the Fire. I know, too long. SUPER food, great service from Laura. I really wish this place was closer to my home. If you ha e not been or have not been lately, give it a try. Usually have to wait for a table but worth iy.
Second time eating here. Short wait , signed in upon arrival. waitress seemed rush which was fine I’m sure they are short staff like everywhere else. Food came out & the presentation was awful. And a little bland. I ordered salmon croquettes and my husband ordered the crispy chicken , both dishes were $15+ and looked like they should not have been more than $10. The food on the Togo side looked visually more appealing. I probably won’t be returning anytime soon.
Such a fun little restaurant! Love the retro ambiance and uniforms that the servers wear. We had egg salad/fries and a turkey/avocado/sprouts & bacon sandwich. Both were really yummy! The fries were spot on! Can’t wait to go back!
This legendary landmark restaurant is always consistent with the food. The staff is ALWAYS outstanding! In my opinion the best breakfast in town. LOVE IT! Also if you are lucky you will catch a celebrity, or well known figure or tv personality dining there
This place is busy and I see why. The food was really good. There was about a 25 minute wait to be seated on a Sunday afternoon. Will definitely go back. I'll try another day. I had the country fried steak with Mac-n-cheese, collard greens, and black eye peas. All meals come with a corn muffin. Parking: Shopping center parking.
