Hangar 58 is located in the newish Delta Marriott and gas a lot of potential. It's a great space with lots of TVs for sports. Our group had an assortment of the appetizers which were very good. The wings were surprisingly hot no matter what flavor we ordered, the cheese curds were tasty, and the pretzel bites were wonderful. The service was good too despite one server calling out and the bartender had to serve everyone. While all of that was really great, I can only give three stars because the main dishes were not very good at all. The salads were lackluster, the pasta had barely any flavor, and the pizza was mediocre at best. I had the cheeseburger. I could taste everything on that burger with the exception of the meat. It was perfectly round with grill marks. It was surprisingly juicy, but again, flavorless. I think it was a frozen patty. McDonald's makes a tastier burger. I found this quite surprising since the drinks and appetizers were made so well. My suggestion when staying at this hotel: go for the drinks and appetizers and find dinner elsewhere.
I was so excited to try the roasted cauliflower…it was not roasted., at all. It was boiled cauliflower with buffalo sauce. The cauliflower and salad took forever to come! The place is cute. The waitresses are friendly enough but the food is mediocre and not really worth the wait. The cloth napkins are a good touch but they smell and it’s not really a cloth napkin kind of place. It’s a sports bar. If you come expecting that, you won’t be disappointed. There are no restaurants within walking distance and all of the hotel staff says it’s sooooo good. The beer was good.
Stayed at tge Delta hotel in Indianapolis. This restaurant was inside. The food I had and service was good!!! The wings and salad especially. Chelsea was our bartender/server. So nice, and helpful. Our room at the hotel had no freezer in the frig. She froze our ice packs for us.Food: 5/5
I really want to give this a good review. I can't. Great atmosphere, good food, but we aged a year while waiting for it. After waiting 30 minutes to order, it took an hour and 27 minutes to be served. Well most were served. 1 of our 5 members of our family did not have their food delivered. The burger was ordered medium, but served very well done. The rest of the food was very good.
The fish and chips were pretty good..well the fish was. The fries were cold. Side salad was also good. Not trying to be a diva but the knife was dirty. Had to ask for silverware, all the food came out at the same time. Maybe they were having an off night.Food: 3/5
I walk in after a long day of travel with my family. Grab a table and there’s maybe 20 total people in the entire restaurant. Sit down and order 2 appetizers and 3 entrees. 20 minutes go by and no appetizers have come out. I pop my head over there and ask what’s going on, they say let me go check and don’t see them for another 5 minutes+. 1 app comes out and it’s clearly been sitting under the heat lamps so I send it back. 3 entrees come out and they’re just OK. Meanwhile the other appetizer pretzels with queso have still not come out. Tell them to cancel those as well since we’re not waiting around for them. Didn’t see the server for a long time and had to go to another server multiple times to get requests completed. Either the kitchen was understaffed or the server just didn’t put our order in right when he took our order. Overall, just a really bad experience and would never recommend this place to anyone.
Don’t waist time getting breakfast. Better off getting fast food for the price. Two egg plate came with side of frozen potatoes out of a bag warmed up and a biscuit with a side of hard cold butter that’s it for $10. Side of store bought toast and burnt bacon another $10. The service was fine and the restaurant is nice but not worth your money.
This place gave me food poisoning. Driving from NY to Kansas City. Stopped overnight for the halfway point. This was inside the Delta hotel. Ate the food around 5p and woke up at 2am throwing up. Had to pay for a whole night extra because I was too sick to drive that morning. I dont know if it was the hamburger or the cheese dip but both ends after this meal were on fire. Eat at your own will…..
So I'm here for work, this restaurant is in the Delta hotel. Being lazy, I decided to eat here. I ordered a Classic Cheeseburger with bacon and it comes with fries. I was hoping for decent, planning on "ehhh", so I was shocked at the quality of this, cooked a perfect medium and seasoned to absolute perfection. The service was excellent and I got my food quickly, also it was not too crowded which was nice. The fries were very good as well. I'm pretty much astonished by the whole experience, it's always nice to get "great" when you're expecting "fair" at best. I heard another customer exclaim over the Buffalo chicken salad too.
I would love to give a good review as the food was ok and the atmosphere was modern and fun however the staff leaves much to be desired. After 30min of waiting we were finally able to order appetizers. 30 more minutes passed before they arrived. In this time we have tried to get plates and silverware to no avail. It would be nice to order dinner but that doesn’t seem to be possible..
