Old Jail

The most interesting building in Charleston! The amount of evil stuff that went on here is mind blowing. We did a day and night tour of this and really enjoyed the 90 minute DAY tour over the 45 minute Ghost Tour. I did get a decent photo of a possible orb. At first I thought it was a reflection of the sun, but who knows (I’ve attached it for any curious ghost hunters). Also after the ghost tour I did wake up the next morning with an unexplained cut. 🤔 I will be back here to do another day tour to get even more history into this creepy historic building. I would like to do another ghost tour, but with a different guide. Our ghost tour guide appeared to be a little nervous giving the tour, but the Day guide was GREAT. I can’t remember his name, but he did grow up a few blocks from the jail.

The tour itself had some incredible stories - I was expecting a cheesy ghost tour and was gratefully impressed by all the history. My dad and I were walking the streets trying to find the jail and some nice lady picked us up on her golf cart and told us it is not an area to walk around at night. Made the start of the tour just that much more interesting.

The tour was a little overpriced for such a short tour. It was interesting though. My husband took a picture in the kitchen and what looks to be a creepy face showed up on film.
