The food was great, as always. But this chick in the picture? She took my order wrong, had an attitude then I saw her complaining about me when I was 10 feet away. When I realized she took my order wrong, the menu showed they were the same price, I was still upfront and it was immediate, so it hadn't been made yet. I thought it shouldn't be a problem. But then she got an attitude with me, tried to correct my already correct pronounciation and then immediatly complained about me right in front of me. Just awful, unprofessional service. That, and she made fun of me for "mispronouncing" "bruschetta"... Which is an Italian word that was actually pronounced correctly...
Fast service, great prices, and a delicious bagel sandwich to be found in downtown OKC. Be aware this location is only open M-F. No weekend hours! Cute decor inside too - nice benches to wait on and a TV to keep you entertained. Would definitely come back for another bagel in the future!
Good bagels, but certainly not the best I've had. They toast to a dark brown here, so I'd you want a lighter toast, you probably should tell them. The salt bagel had to much salt, yes its a salt bagel, but the entire surface was completely crusted with salt, to the point you couldn't taste anything else.
If you didn't know, this is inside the building. Opposite of the Bank of America. Good place. Fast service. Friendly staff. It will get busy at/around lunch and stay rather steady until they close at 3pm. Recommended to walk there if you're even semi-close since parking is awful. I would've given 5 stars but it's a bit pricey. Definitely due to the location and cost associated.
I really like Old School downtown. It's a great alternative for lunch when you are burnt out on everything else. However, it is always a train wreck. There is only one person working the register so the line backs up. And even though there are three people making food, it takes forever. All of which I have forgiven, until today. When I placed an online order to make the cashier's job easier it was a complicated order and I got there only to find out that not only did they not get the order, but they were out of the only bagel I will eat. So, I paid $6.36 + tax for 1.7 ounces of turkey, 2 tomato slices and a slice of swiss cheese. With no offer to refund any money or replace it with anything else.
Nice little bagel shop, bagels are good, The staff is really nice, they have a nice variety of bagels and smear, my only complaint is the egg substitute, I wish they had freshly cracked eggs cooked to your liking other then that, nice place, definitely be back.
Alway out of bagels, gets my order wrong about 90% of the time, overcharges and won’t explain why & staff is very rude! Honest just make the trip to the 23rd loacation. They’re so nice there and food tastes a million times better. I’ve given this place a good amount tries but every time it’s the same thing.
My work ordered bagels this morning and I ordered a blueberry muffin; needless to say I've had cramps and diarrhea all day today, the muffin has come out almost completely undigested. I'll never eat here again, I'm so sick, ugh.
Good food with a wide selection of bagels. Funny that a bagel shop would not offer the traditional Lox’s and bagel and don’t say smear........ its just cream cheese here! Oh go ahead and try it...... it will not disappoint.
Fantastic bagels everytime I go there. I've been to their Edmond location and down near Bricktown and they are worth it every time.
