Just because this place is obviously an incredible labor of love doesn't mean I like sitting in an uncomfortable seat. That said, great grandma will love a visit to her 1920s childhood movie theater, singalong and all. For the rest of us, it's mostly a museum, with amazing curators and films from so distant a time as to seem downright foreign. Did I mention hokey? It seems to be the period's primary cultural value.

Lots of fun, go see it and you will probably understand. I would not recommend this for children or teenages. It's probably not that interesting for most of them

Best place to see classic films on the SoCal coast. Full Wurlitzer Grand Theater Organ mini-concert, sing-a-long, silent comedy... and then the feature film. Thank you, Old Town Music Hall!

A gem of a place, oldies movies with live organ, great ambience.

This is a treasure hidden away in small town El Segundo one mile from LAX. You can watch an old time classic in a small theater with a huge theater organ played live right in front of you. Have a bite or drink at on of the many establishments in this old part of town within walking distance of each other.
