Great neighborhood spot that’s always delicious and I’ve never had issues getting a table. Love the French feeling surrounds, especially when they throw the windows open in the summer. The hanger steak and duck are always a go to, and salads are delicious. Also love the snails. A favorite on the neighborhood rotation.
Quaint, Parisian spot. The food is wonderful, and they have a French twist on their Aperol Spritz. Good for lunch on the weekend and I took a client here for a drink as well. Wonderful service. The ONLY thing to be aware of is they only take cash or American Express.
Love the food her every dish brings quality and incredible taste to ones eating experience at this Establishment
Such delicious dinner. I forgot how excellent their cooking is. Beef bourguignon, steak frites, foie gras, charcuterie, escargot all of the suggested wine was absolutely unforgettable. Of course we had to get a desert and the caramelized apples under a scoop of icecream was worth all the extra calories! Must visit!
This is a small restaurant but don't let the size fool you. There is a nice comfortable bar and the tables are a good size. Service is good. The food is amazing. The dorada is cooked to perfection and no excess oil or butter. The rib eye was tender and well seasoned. The wine sauce, impeccable. Their desserts are the perfect size to end a meal. Love the chocolate molten volcano and the tart tatin. You are fine with any of the desserts offered. It is an amazing spot for any occasion
The food here is amazing and a decent price for what you get. Good salad, mussels, desert, martinis. I have no complaints. Only that people in park slope don’t go out enough.
Was working on a film in Park Slope a week ago and we had our lunch break there. Large menu selection. Delicious food. Great service. Kid-friendliness: There were children in the restaurant Parking: Available parking but we walked from the shoot. Wheelchair accessibility: Being on the first floor there was wheelchair accessibility. Also outside dining.
Strolling through the neighborhood I passed by and decided to try it out as they had two outside seating spots available. I'm glad that I did! They had a great brunch menu at reasonable prices and was craving a Bloody Mary which they also had. French Bistro, feel and charm, the owner and his little Daughter were on hand to great us and seat us. Server was a charming and friendly young lady. Ordered and received our food in a timely matter. The Bloody Mary was fantastic and not watered down, the Eggs Benedict with Salmon was just right, the egg oozing out with a light cut through it and the Hollandaise Sauce was smooth and not too thick. Came with three Steak Fries with it's own spiced sauce which was an perfect accompaniment and amount. Also had the Croquet on Toast with an egg on top and mixed greens. The toast was a burned on the bottom, but it was still a tasty dish and didn't want to be too picky as we were hungry. Only thing I'd have wished for was to be checked on a bit more for a refill of the drinks only had one drink each as we were never asked if we wanted any more to drink empty glasses. But I guess it was luckily a good thing to pass on as we were satisfied with the meal overall and plan on going back for their Sunday $1 Oysters...
If you’re looking for a delicious French restaurant experience, Olivier is the place for you! This classic French restaurant serves up delectable plates of steak frite, beef bourguignon that will satisfy even the pickiest of eaters. The steak frite is cooked to perfection, with a perfectly seared steak and crispy, golden fries. The beef bourguignon is rich and flavorful, with a red wine sauce that is just the right amount of tart and sweet. The wine selection at Olivier is also top notch, with a great selection of bottles from the Languedoc region. Olivier is is very knowledgeable and can help you find the perfect wine to pair with your meal. The restaurant also offers a delicious brunch menu, with items like omelettes, quiches, and croque madame. The staff at Olivier is friendly and accommodating, and they make you feel right at home. Whether you're looking for a romantic dinner for two or a casual lunch with friends, Olivier is the perfect spot. With its delicious
Authentically French food and a nice ambiance. Came for brunch and ordered a croque monsieur, it came open-faced, but all the flavors were there. Side salad was nice and light, just like one you would get with a small entree in Paris. Knocked one star for slower service and price - a bit on the expensive side compared to other restaurants in the area. As for service, they were all very lovely, but I asked for my bill and it took about 20min plus a reminder to actually get it and pay. I was not in a rush, hoever something to keep in mind if you are on a tight schedule.
