7th Avenue Donuts

Story

Seventh Avenue, occasionally referred to as Seventh Avenue–Park Slope, is an express station on the IND Culver Line of the New York City Subway, located at Seventh Avenue and Ninth Street in the Park Slope neighborhood of Brooklyn. It is served by the F and G trains at all times.Station layoutThis station has two island platforms and four tracks, but only the outer two are normally in revenue service, although a proposal to re-activate the express tracks is being considered. South of this station, the express tracks separate from the local tracks and rejoin beneath them north of Fort Hamilton Parkway, then rise up again. The tile band is mustard yellow with a sienna brown border, set in a three-high "express station" course. The top border is slightly wider than the bottom and bisects the center of the band at regular intervals. This appears to be a modern aberration done during a renovation sometime in the 1980s as historical images show standard IND style color bands before 1972. There is evidence of water damage on both trackside walls. While this station is underground and Fourth Avenue is on an elevated trestle, this station is actually at a higher elevation than Fourth Avenue. The is because Brooklyn's topography slopes downwards towards the west (hence the neighborhood name of Park Slope), allowing the line to enter into the hillside between the two stations.

Awesome diner, food was amazing! I had a Texas burger and it was delicious!! Must visit place! Specially since they sell donuts to go if you just want something quick and they are also amazing!
The old fashioned donut was $2. It was moist and flavorful but not greasy. Regrettably I only could takeout from here as I had other plans. From what I can sense on the premises this looks like a fine place to dine in. Perhaps I'll have a chance when I'm around Park Slope.
This is my go-to brunch place, and their donut deal baker's dozen is great. I especially like the chocolate donut stick and french cruller. The french cruller is not included in the baker's dozen though.Food: 5/5
Good good and generous portions. and 24h!, but this last time - in which it was not busy at all - I had poor service inside. It took 3 reminders to the waitress to get coffee after I communicated it as part of my order twice, no refill on water after asking, and took my food away while still eating it didn’t even ask. Likely a new server, but please train your staff on follow-through, not just for the customer experience but also for the staff’s professional success. However, past/other severs have been excellent.
Quesadilla was very greasy and four cheeses is a laugh more like two, one of which that tasted like cheap american cheese slices! Won’t return here!
Many changes to this diner since one year ago. Definitely, Covid secured. A new and very friendlier staff. The food, as always was very delicious and service, very attentive. Pics says it all... Um Yum!
This place is starting to grow on me, very casual, cash only but the food is pretty darn good. Seem to really care about the food they put out especially at lunch time. Would recommend the BLT's, french fries and an old fashioned jelly donut that will remind you of what a great donut was like when you were a kid.
Dig this place. Fast service, value, good food. Favorite joint in Park slope. After your high calorie meal you can walk to Prospect Park and burn it off. Dos huevos, sausage, home fries, coffee and white toast. Don’t forget the hot sauce and ketchup. Get a donut for your walk to Prospect Park, you deserve it.
I always get my usual the salmon filet meal with mashed potatoes and sautéed broccoli or spinach. It's my absolute favorite meal to get here and it's very delicious!! Great place to dine in with or without company. Only downfall is that they only take cash so be sure to have cash on you. They also have an ATM inside.
The new waitress Mari has a very Poor attitude and No Customer service skills we have been coming to this Diner since I was a child and never had any problems with any of the waiters everyone was always very professional and customer friendly! Not anymore! Which is terrible! I will No longer be a customer after 20something years of patronage to this one and 39th st! Waited over 30mins and she kept clearing tables and not seating us mind you I am Nine months pregnant standing and waiting!!! Never again!!
