I've been going to Victor for years to alter clothes to fit my tall slim build. His skill as a tailor is top notch! I wouldn't go to any other tailor since I've found him. I highly recommend Victor if you are looking for quality workmanship.Service: Alterations

I had Victor tailor my suit, and now it fits and looks spectacular. He also dry-cleaned it, making it super fresh and new looking. Price was very reasonable for tailoring plus dry-cleaning, but do note I was mostly paying to have the suit tailored. I will definitely go here in the future for any precise/delicate tailoring I need done for suits and other expensive clothing. Other notes: he has a small dressing room for customers coming in for tailoring.

I visited a few months back to have a suit altered. After the first attempt, I had to go back and ask him to redo the tailor job since everything was fitting poorly. He replied "people would kill for this look" and reluctantly altered the suit again. It still didn't fit properly. I brought it to another tailor who said it is unfixable and that whomever did the alteration was not a tailor. The seams were sewn too close to the ends of the fabric and the settings used on the sewing machine were incorrect for the material. Please do not use this place for alterations!

Way too expensive to just taper a pants same day. Other places charge $40 max, this place is $64

Victor is the best, I travel all the way from Williamsburg to use his services, because no one alters my vintage found weird sized pants better than him. He knows his stuff, understands what I want "do you want fashionably lose or sexy fit?", makes the alterations so clothes fit me perfectly, and is very pleasurable to deal with. And it's affordable! For $20 any pants will fit me like they were made to order. He was recommended by a friend and I continue recommend Victor to others, because it's hard to find a good tailor and he's one of good ones.

Brought my favorite winter jacket to have the zipper replaced. The jacket was done on time and Victor did an amazing job! Better then I ever expected. Thank you.

Super bummed! This is the closest place to my house and for some reason the lady didn’t want to make an alteration to my pants . I even told her an exact length and she refused and said I would need to bring in another pair of pants for reference but I don’t want these to fit like the other ones I have. Going for a new look these days. Any recommendations for a good tailor in Carroll Gardens?

Victor is terrific! He has worked on a few different pieces of clothing for me and each turn out very well. The dry cleaning here is also great. Highly recommended!
