Me and my 2 brothers came from . Seaford delaware. We bought no less then 15.pounds of the polish sausage. Plus Italian sausage sage and celery sausage. I could not taste any of the sausage. There was no taste at all . Next time I'll go to the Kraus deli.or Sophie's in the Broadway market. Anyway merry Christmas everyone.Food: 2/5
I just had some spicy Polish sausage I picked up at Geresbeck's. The sausage was great!...I had it with an English breakfast.
great kielbasa. almost as good as my babcia use to make when I was a child. Especially the spicy one, which I don't call spicy because that is how i grew up. the smell of Easter Sunday as they made it fresh and than let it cure on poles in the attic. like i said almost as good. Excellent place to buy your keilbasa
This store has outstanding kielbasa and celery or sage sausage. They are friendly and the epitome of a great neighborhood commercial establishment. They source their pork from another old-school Baltimore business, so you are truly “buying local” when you buy here.
The sausage I ate was pretty good, not great, but it was also the Italian sausage and I'd believe that a Polish sausage might be better - that's the reason for 2 stars instead of 1. I purchased sweet Italian sausage from them, and checked the ingredients label to make sure there was no red pepper, as I have a food intolerance. When I brought the product home, I found it was full of red pepper. My wife contacted the company to politely suggest that they use a bit more detail in their ingredient labels so people like myself aren't disappointed. She received a call back from one of the Ostrowskis in which he condescendingly explained to her that she didn't understand how ingredient labels work and that it's essentially our fault for buying a commercially prepared product while also having a food allergy. He offered no assistance with helping us navigate their product line or anything else remotely helpful - it seemed the most important element was his own ego. We were pretty browned off from the experience and likely won't buy their products again. It's a shame, really, as I'd really like to be able to support a local business.
Never had a bad experience with the people or product .Been eating this since i was a kid and have served it in my stuffing for close to twenty years ! I only go into town at thanksgiving to get it fresh nomaly pick up at Geresbeck's . But fresh is the BEST ,can even watch it being made .
I was avid customer of Ostrowskis on Washington Street. Bank Street has a little way to go to match their sausages not only that they don't carry kishka and a lot of the other polish items that John did on Washington Street I really miss John too bad that the cousins couldn't keep the true recipe of alive
This is the BEST kielbasa I’ve ever had. We got a mild Polish Kielbasa for Easter, and it was absolutely delicious.
