Everything we ordered to eat for brunch was amazing. The cinnamon bun was INSANE fluffy, sweet and a little sea salt on top. My friend didn’t like her Bloody Mary but that was the only thing. Decor inside and out is a vibe. Can’t wait to try the dinner menu next.
Ambiance is lovely. Service took a little while, but I didn't mind. The burrata here is among the best I've ever had. There was so many flavors that were spread perfectly. My entree was their Braised Pork Shoulder pasta and I loved it, the most unique pasta experience I've had. The olive oil cake was decent, not too sweet!Recommended dishesOlive Oil Cake, Gigli Pasta, Burrata Salad
Our server Brie was awesome! She was so sweet and attentive, and gave great recommendations based on our flavor preferences. I hope to see her when I come back. And then the food…omg The burrata dish was so fresh and had so many complex flavors. The freshly baked grilled bread was perfect to sop everything up with, and they gave you a generous portion I could’ve ordered more bread because it was that delicious but I had to pace myself. I had the pork shoulder pasta and my friend had the lamb shank, and they were both delicious and tender and cozy. Brie recommended the olive oil cake for dessert and it was phenomenal. The texture was light, the flavor was fresh, and all the extra little bits they added made every bite interesting caramelized apples, pistachios, whipped cream, ice cream, and delicious crunchy bits of something I can’t remember. Overall this was an amazing dining experience and I can’t wait to return.
Located a block away from the L train the exterior decor reminds you you are in a part of Brooklyn that is still finding itself. The interior ambience of Otis let's you settle down while your food is prepared. The service is quick and the food items are hidden gems the grilled iceberg lettuce is a MUST. From the appetizers to the entrees to the drinks to the desserts, Otis will have you reserving your next trip. Our compliments to the chef!
Otis was a fantastic meal from start to finish. I came here for brunch with a large group, which allowed us to order almost everything on the menu, and not a single dish disappointed. I particularly enjoyed the Brunch Iceberg, which was a nice crunchy/healthy quasi-salad dish presented as an iceberg lettuce carved in half, and the braised pork shoulder, which was rich and creamy in an al dente gigli pasta which you don't see often. Honorable mention for the wild mushroom toast. This was a 10/10 for brunch and worth trekking out to East Williamsburg for.
Delicious food, short but good menu. Super friendly staff. We had a nice time at Otis. Highlight: Beautiful plating / amazing lemonade. Cons: huge rat right outside the door that almost made me fall both on my way in, and out. I know it’s NYC Will def visit again
Came as a walk in and enjoyed dinner for two at the bar. The cocktail was excellent as well as the burrata appetizer. The mussels lacked in flavor but the dessert rounded out the meal perfectly. Will definitely be going back.Dine in: Yes
Excellent. The kind of restaurant you’d tell your friends living in Jersey City to make the hour-long trek to. We had the grilled bread, lamb chops, mussels, and olive oil cake. I’d recommend everything.
Food was good and presentation of the food was nice. Compared to other restaurants in NYC this place has some improvements to make to stand out. First improvement would be with the waiter. She was not attentive and generally came off as in a bad mood. The hostest with the colorful pants was very friendly!!
Expensive but amazing as a treat. They really put effort into their dishes. Every flavor works together. The restaurant has an awesome vibe and music was on point! Make a reservation tho!
