Brunch was great here! Service was quick and the waitress was really nice. She didn’t come around too often but she was helpful and we didn’t need much. We got the shakshuka which was really good and the challah bread was fantastic. But my favorite was the hash and eggs which was so delicious. I definitely want to go back to try their lunch/dinner foods. We also got the Israeli pickles which were not really pickles but pickled vegetables? It was interesting but good. A little disappointed because I had been craving pickles, but oh well. Would definitely come again.
I was told the beer wasn't work but there were plenty of patrons drinking. The wine offerings are terrible. The food was served cold, we ordered pastrami corned beef ruben, pastrami sandwich, matzoh ball soup, chips and the side of kraut.
Originally wanted to go to the restaurant section for Saturday brunch but we arrived about 5 minutes before they opened. Being impatient and hungry, we decided to just grab something from the deli section which was already open. Both the Reuben and Pastrami were so good! The meats were thick and juicy. If I had to choose though, I would go for the Reuben. The cold brew coffee was also good. So glad I now have a place to stop by and get a bite before going to Trader Joe's next door!
Great brunch spot! Went here for the first time on a Sunday around 11:30am and there was virtually no wait, which was awesome. Lots of seating, and the space itself is very pretty. The shakshuka was delicious, and their challah is thick and fluffy. Kind and attentive service as well.
We tested the daily and I was disappointed. Half sandwich pastrami literally 3 bites for 7$. The pastrami didn't have any flavor at all. The chicken bagel was s the worst 10$. Seriously, I have a high tolerance on food but I wouldn't recommend this daily.
Awesome spot for lunch/dinner/drinks/all of the above. Their Martini game is on point--properly stirred and everything! Gin selection is incredible. Super knowledgeable staff. I love the smoked salmon salad. And the space is brightly lit natural light and beautiful. Comfortable spot if you're stopping in by yourself or with friends. PS can't wait for patio season!
Sadly I’m giving this place a 1 star after a terrible incident that happened. I was served a glass of rosé with spider and cob webs clearly visible to the eye. Yes, you can say ew and yuck but I did drink out of that glass and only noticed what was in my drink minutes later. If you’re an avid drinker and know your bubbly’s well, you should know when something is in your drink. From a scientist’s point of view, bubbles go up they don’t stay at the bottom of the glass for a reason. Be the judge and tell me what you think. When I told the bartender what happened, he laughed at us. He knew what was in the drink after taking a closer look but brushed it off and didn’t even apologize and take it out of our bill. That makes me mad as a customer. If only the bartender was nicer and actually took a minute to investigate what was in my glass, I would have been nicer in this review. The bartender was also so inattentive to our problem because he kept chatting with a girl sitting next to us. Friends > job for this guy. Their upper management team is also unresponsive. Terrible management and terrible service! To the cambridge/Boston community, do not go to this place until they get a heath inspection! Spread the word!!!!
I absolutely love getting the chicken schnitzel which is one of the best chicken sandwiches I've ever had I highly recommend this place. The only suggestion I have is that they add a latte espresso machine because right now they only have drip coffee.
As a New Englander who now lives in the Midwest where bagels don’t exceed mediocre, I make sure to seek out a bagel during ever trip home. Got a toasted French toast bagel with cream cheese and a hot coffee. The bagel was perfectly chewy and exactly what I had missed. Would def go back here if I lived nearby!
Gin-lovers paradise with a huge list of cocktails and gins to choose from, including some you can't get elsewhere according to excellent bartender Chad, who helped navigate options. Full bar available for non-gin drinkers as well.
